Their shots are pretty accurate to how they would play them in real life, simon's passive countering forehand, djokovic's winner backhands and athletic slides on clay.... but i don't see why they couldn't get the serves right... I mean how... why!!??
hey.... i play tennis and it makes me fun but is it on the ps3 also nice for a long time? and is the gameplay fun longer in top spin or virtual tennis? i don t want know which one is better... sry for my english :D
Only just bothered to order this, and after playing the demo many times, I'm happy there is another level above hard. Looks like a fantastic game though. the AI looks extremely clever in this, you played well regardless :)
@solarisaint1 no thats real tennis because a 5 shot rally and a 30 shot rally can be both boring and therefore the crowd response is weak...or both points are exciting perferraly the 5 shot rally in a crucial moment and a big forehand and the crowd is behind him/her and a 30 shot rally with alot of athleticism and movement (exciting shots such as tweeners,drop shots lobs, and so on) causing it to be very entertaining making the crowds response to be stronger

@allebb TS4 is more of a sim, VT4 is more Arcade. I prefer TS4, You've got better control, more shots available, there are more "situations" in TS4, it really feels like they've analysed the game of tennis quite closely and worked out how to get as many real life shots/reactions/counters in there as possible. When I play VT4 I often feel like the ball physics is wrong, the player movement is wrong, there are shots which simply aren't in the game. TS4 isn't perfect, but it's miles beyond VT4.
difference of top spin games and virtua tennis games topspin you can hit outs more often while virtua tennis has some odd code that no matter how far you move the joystick er w.e you wont hit out unless serving top spin puts the bounce of each court different in its coding, virtua tennis does not.

the only thing I disslike about this game is the strenght of the hit and the speed of boll it's much stronger in live ! And I hope that there will be the pc version of the Top Spin 5

WOW this game looks much more satisfiying when you win a point, unlike Virtua Tennis 4, which is just a joke of a game... BUT I didn't like top spin 3, and that says a LOT about number 4, cos i like it a lot....
The game is sweet but the shots and technique suck. Looks almost like they just started playing tennis. Bad strokes. The players dont look like in real life like they do in Virtua tennis 4. But it looks more realistic. Tennis Elbow 2011 is a sweet game.
The only reason I like Virtua Tennis 4 more than Top Spin 4 or Grand Slam Tennis is that Virtua is available on PC
