Novak Djokovic's body at 36 years needs to be studied at Harvard University 🤯 Only after he will be retired people will understand more what he's achieving these days. Amazing human being!
Harvard? 😅😅😅
That's for Doped Americans
It's mind more than body. He has the mental ability to erase bad shots that others can't do.
His training should be studied. The success to any sport is training and genetics. Novak has both.
"I don't think there's anything special to what Djokovic has been doing now for the last several years. I don't think he's better than Federer was, for example. It's more the fact we're in one of the weakest eras of all time"

He’s very particular with what he eats. And what he puts in his body in general. Genetics also plays a factor
This man will never leave his prime. The level he showed tonight is something that almost nobody ever achieved.

Super blessed being able to witness the undeniable greatness of Novak Djokovic. 36 years old and still the man to beat in Tennis. Hard to put into words how lucky we are to be in the Novak era. Truly inspirational🙌
Oh brother, the drama
Inspirational how much work and effort he still puts into preparation.
Inspirational the kind of obstacles he faces that are similar to ours - mentally and physically. I feel that his outbursts are proof of that. One could think that after all these years he had become immune to pressure and emotions on court - much to the contrary. He still struggles with ups and downs just like any of us.
How can we explain that 36 years old Novak playing at such an extraordinary level against 20 years old Alcaraz
This is PHENOMENAL
He has a large team working for him. Alcaraz has a lousy coach. He will never be number 1 again. His height will always be a disadvantage.
simple !!!! He does not put crap in his body from big pharma like jabs !!!
He has 20 years more practice playing tennis
Federer was 36 in 2017 and had one of his best years ever. It’s not exactly a unique situation but mighty impressive from Djokovic nonetheless.

Today, November 18th 2023, is THE day, when I have become convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Novak Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time. What he did today PHYSICALLY, at 36 years of age, is so far beyond what anyone has ever accomplished. He was not only the best player in the world today, he was arguably the best ATHLETE in the sport today. Incredible movement, speed, & dexterity--for ANY age, but he just did it at 36. AMAZING.

Alcaraz serve was good but he was uncharacteristically nervous and missed a lot of backhands, some volleys, and made bad shot choices. I think the pressure got to him.
What pressure? The guy beat him in a grand slam final. This has nothing to do with Alcaraz and everything to do with how good Djokovic is@@NamesAreRandom
Totally agree. He hit twice as many winners, but had more than twice as many UE's. That was not the main problem though, Djokovic was simply winning important points, and Alcaraz was winnig unimportant points. The best example was the very first game: He started the match like a hurricane, hit some impressive winners - and then he made two UE's and didn't break him in the end! So what's the use of all the blistering winners if you don't achieve anything in the end? I think he is definitely more nervous when playing Djokovic, but let's not forget that he lost several matches in the last few weeks against players you would expect him to beat.
Carlos missed some very important and easy shots
@jefdarcy Carlos had a lot of forced errors on the backhand side too. Meaning Djokovic was putting a lot of pressure onto him

In my humble opinion, what really separates Novak apart from the rest of today's pack (more than his defense) is his shot selection under pressure. Everyone else seems to make questionable shot selection in key points of a game or not attacking the net enough when the opportunity presents itself; opting to cling to the baseline instead. Djokovic has won an all-time record 24 Grand Slam singles titles. He has been the world No. 1 for a record total 399 weeks in a record 12 different years,[1] and the year-end world No. 1 a record eight times. Djokovic is the only player in tennis history to be the reigning champion of all four majors at once across all three different surfaces and the only one to achieve a triple Career Grand Slam by winning all four majors at least three times. He has won a record 70 Big Titles while winning all four Grand Slams tournaments, all nine ATP Masters tournaments, and the Year-end Championships at least twice, a feat no other player achieved even once.[2] Djokovic is widely regarded by sports analysts, tennis players and media pundits as the greatest tennis player of all time.[3][4][5][6]
In addition to his winning records at majors, Djokovic made 36 Grand Slam finals, playing at least seven finals at each major and winning at least 88 matches at each major, all all-time records. He also had a record five winning streaks of 26 or more matches at majors with 30 being the longest (2015-16), an open-era record.
Djokovic has won a record 40 ATP Masters titles. By 2018, he had won Masters titles across all nine tournaments, becoming the first and only player to achieve the Career Golden Masters. As a result, he is considered the most accomplished player in ATP Masters history for his versatility and success in winning Masters events on a consistent basis.[7] Moreover, Djokovic has won a joint-record six Year-end Championship titles, including a record streak of four titles from 2012 to 2015.
Djokovic's 2011 season is considered one of the greatest seasons by a tennis player ever. Djokovic won 10 titles across all three different surfaces and defeated Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer a total of 10 times collectively with a match record of 10-1 against them. Djokovic went on a 41-match win streak and set a then-record of 5 Masters titles won in a season. In 2015, Djokovic won three majors in a season for the second time, improved his record of most Masters won in a season by claiming six titles, and finished the year by winning his fourth consecutive Year-end Championships title. Djokovic also made the finals of all elite tournaments he played in 2015, winning a season-record 10 Big Titles across all surfaces and setting a rankings record of 16,950 points while defeating a record 31 Top-10 players in the season.
Djokovic is widely considered to be the greatest hardcourt player ever.[8] He has the record for most Majors and Masters titles won on hardocurts. With his 7 Wimbledon titles, Djokovic is also regarded as one of the greatest players on grass courts in history.[9] Besides hard courts and grass courts, Djokovic has won 19 titles on clay, including three French Open titles and 11 Masters titles, which is second only to Nadal's record of 26. Djokovic is one of two players, along with Robin Söderling, to defeat Nadal at Roland Garros and the only one to do so twice. He is the only player to defeat Nadal in all three clay-court Masters events and the one who ended Nadal's consecutive run of 8 Monte Carlo titles in the 2013 final.
Djokovic is the only player to win at least 3 majors across all three different surfaces (hard, clay and grass) and the only player to hold all major titles at once across the three surfaces. He is also the only player to win 6 Big Titles or more at one tournament on the three surfaces, the Australian Open being the most notable on hardcourts (outdoors), Wimbledon on grass, Italian Open on clay, and the Year-end Championship on hardcourts (indoors).
Djokovic holds the records for most victories against top 10 and top 5 players. Furthermore, he has won a record 60 titles by defeating multiple top 10 players and a record 23 titles by defeating multiple top 5 players en route. He has been part of the two most prolific rivalries in the Open Era, versus Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, with him having a winning head-to-head record against them. He is the only player to defeat Nadal and Federer in all four Grand Slam tournaments, and the only one to defeat them at their most successful major tournament more than once. Djokovic has scored a record 21 or more victories against five different players; Nadal, Federer, Murray, Wawrinka and Berdych. In 2011, Djokovic had the most dominant record versus a world No. 1 for a single season, going 5-0 against Nadal before overtaking him as No. 1.@@gregforgey4996
Guys have some shame. If u r true fans of sports learn to give credit where it is due. I guess u all r not man enough
Wow. WOOW! What a freaking match! What an intensity! Crazy! I enjoyed these highlights from start to end with a huge smile on my face, and even jumped from my chair on couple of points, like it was live! Amazing!
🎉🎉🎉😊😊 What a man!!! ❤ Congrats, Novak! Finally, winning in 2 sets! Let's get this done tomorrow! #1 #24
That game at 3-2 in the second set is probably the game of the year..
To sum Novak up in one word is simply phenomenal ❤
I just love the way Novak puts them to their place.... Please, bow to the GOAT!!!!!
Брат Новак, обичаме те от България ❤
The kid served an incredible first serve percentage of 85% and still couldn't avert utter humiliation at the hands of GOAT 🐐🐐. May his soul rest in peace.

Djoker not just GOAT but GOD of tennis
And Alcaraz's management had already proclaimed the end of the Djokovic era after Wimbledon. It's unbelievable how fast and agile the "old man" is.
that was Nike
Even Djoko’s fan are chocked by the tennis produced 😳 😳🤯🥳🤩🔥
Djokovic is just so good, it´s unbelievable
Ese cierre de juego, otro nivel!!!❤

6-3 and 6-2 in less than an hour and a half?! That was a pure lesson in tennis and sports for an over-the-top kid. Not the first and not the last, for sure. Brilliant checkmate.
Over the top kid? So the Masterclass in the biggest match in Tennis just a few months ago is nothing?
@@DimitarFCBMafter that so called Masterclass, Novak beat him every time he met Carlos in French open, Cincinnati Masters and ATP Finals and proven that would have been perhaps a flash in the pan 🤫

Novak é um grande campeão.
No need to disrespect Carlos. He is humble and shows respect to Novak. He is a fantastic player and isn’t cocky off the court
Everyone who says he is not the goat is a joke. Im a lifelong Nadal fan but he is just something else. Unreal….
Absolutely he is the GOAT
for me not even the first 5 of all times. I'll never like him as a tennis player.
For me is like Cristiano Ronaldo in football, great achievement, excellent carreer, but I my personal opinion, he makes games less interesting, I like a lot of tennis players instead of him.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That doesn’t make anyone a joke.

At this age, Jordan retired, Ali retired, Bolt retired. Djoko is at his prime, playing the best tennis ever existed on this planet. The greatest athlete ever !

Extraordinary performance from Djokovic! He is playing very well against next-next generation. :)
Undisputed GOAT Djokovic is a different beast in the playoffs of ATP Finals as compared to round robbin. How many times have we seen he losing easily to several players like Federer in the round robbin an crush them ruthlessly in the playoffs of the same year.

@@initialize21that’s why he has a positive H2H against both Federer and Nadal. Yeah you are absolutely right.
@@initialize21 Murray never said that..thats a total lie
How Djokovic can keep up and still best the fittest and highly skilled young players is beyond me. He doesn't show any sign of slowing down.
What a tennis lesson from the GOAT to the next Big Champion
Are we still in conversation about “GOAT” status?
Novak in our heart ❤️🇷🇸👌🏻
no we do not have goat conversation, federer's fans are using beauty and nadal's fans are saying you will see in 2024 when nadal returns but both of them are way behind Djokovic since 2021, not even politics could stop Djokovic winning in 2022 what he could.
Djokovic has really optimized his weapons to the fullest. He is incredibly clutch - he breaks when he needs to, saves break points when he needs to, and raises his level in the most important matches. And I feel like he conserves energy by not going all out on every important point, but creating the most opportunities possible
Doesn't get said enough that Djokovic is a true master of energy conservation, especially now at his age. You're right, he doesn't extend himself on every point, like Carlos usually does. He has an inner compass telling him whether it's worth it to chase a ball or let it lie.
Exactly my thoughts..Its like he knows game so much that appears he is in his prime right now..
Anticipation of the game, and how he breaks opponents with his mental strength through comebacks, break points, long exchanges he never gives up, and he knows how to cover space without exhausting too much, every move he makes is power saver but in same time best possible move...simply amazing...
There’s a great video on this, on the “Baseline Tennis” channel, it’s called “Winning when it matters”
Yes both Djokovic and Federer have technique whuch allows them to oreserve energy as much as they can. And Novak learnt from Federer not to chase every ball
Novak demolished Carlos today. He played on a different level. So happy to see him win comfortably. If Novak plays like today then Sinner probably will have no chance but anyways hoping for an exciting rematch. Sinner too is playing the best tennis of his life.
Sinner makes less unforced errors than Carlos
Novak is the”Level”
Good point, however Sinner is more steady from the baseline then Alcaraz,
producing less mistakes plus creating & taking chances better.
A lot depends on serve though for both players
Nah Sinner is 100% way more fitter and better than Carlos is atm. His game style suits him against Novak better as well, being way more comfortable at the baseline.
@@anrijsc1037 it's not easy to beat Djokovic twice in a week. even now!

Oh my God. Carlitos played brilliantly. Novak played beyond brilliantly.
Carlo would beat anybody else to a pulp today, too bad Novak decided to show up in 'Son of God' mode.
Breathtaking from grandpa Joker.
Rafa on clay and Djoker on hard at their best are unbeatable
Novak is truly in a league of his own. How he’s able to dominant at this age is insane.
Can’t wait for this Sinner rematch 🍿
