My friend who turned me into your vids, and OC, has convinced me to wear headphones. It always sounds like it does when practicing then. It has helped me with my stage fright too.
Hi it's so funny coming across this today, rather too late to apply what are you said for the performance I'm doing this Thursday. My Rig is a bit more mental and it does feel like I've got a lot to keep my hands on. I've managed to do two runs, finally, where sounds pretty much like I'd hope it to but there is so much to forget all get wrong. Anyway hopefully it will go alright but next time I might apply what I've learned in this video. Thanks for the great work you've done on this and all your other videos particularly all of it and crime. cheers
great video , and ive been in your situation a few times before , and my way round to be able to keep track of all the things going on , would just be to keep your rig the same and just practice , practise practise .. , and remember the faster the music , normally the more changes to keep it moving so way harder , its flying by the seat of your pants every time though with these systems I feel ..
Great walkthrough - nice sized rack too. Interested in if you carried it as hand luggage on your fllight over to Knobcon or check it using a pelican or similar?
I could have carried it on in a backpack I bought specially for DJ gear. But it is heavy so I just popped it in my checked bag wrapped in a blanket and it was fine
I’m not experienced, but I’ve noticed that modular, like you said is about letting go of preconceived ideas and letting what is happening simply happen musically
Thanks for the walkthrough! With the MIDI Thing, do you still need Pam’s to generate say a 1/16 trigger as a clock signal for syncing a delay or other effects, or can the MIDI Thing do that too?
Thanks for the video. Watched your dub chord video a while ago and liked it. I kept rewatching it for reference and was surprised to see you come visit Chicago for Knobcon and sorry I missed it as I'm only 30 mins away. Curious, where are you located?
It saddens me that amount of gear today has killed any kind of creativity. Having 1010 bitbox just to play one-shot samples and sequence everything via midi in a modular... Everything in this setup screams boring and underutilized. But I get it, its either a path of gear, or path of music, hard to do both.

Do you wear the headphones on stage too?
Great walkthrough cheers. Loved the performance too, keep up the good work.
Thanks a ton!
Great setup and demos, Thanks for sharing! 🎉
It was great talking with at Knobcon.
Thanks so much dadofmodular 🎉amazing vidéo
You're very welcome!

Nice Overview! 😁🙏👊
Glad you enjoyed it!

That was my problem here I think - I spent too long preparing the setup that I didn't dedicate enough time to practice!

That is very true, and was hard for me to do on the day as I had practiced a certain sound so had to let go of that and go with the flow

The MIDI Thing can do that too
Just curious, with the Warp in poly mode being driven by the One->TRS Bridge, do you ever find that one of the Sharp chord notes gets stuck on?

I live in Ireland, so it was a long flight to Chicago but well worth it to see everyone there!
Do you have a modular grid link to this case?
Here you go: modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/2637592
Ha! The 3toms filter is actually workable in that orientation...
Yeah it worked out well like this, made it more playable too

How would you re-do this setup, bearing in mind it has to be portable, to meet what you think is the ideal?
Being a keyboard killer hater is a bad look but you wear it well , take ur stench elsewhere
