- Comedian Alex Stein says its “sad” that instead of being a “meritocracy”, the US is electing people based on “race and gender”.
Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 US presidential elections.
“That where we’re at - we are electing people based on their race and gender,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Instead of being a meritocracy, based on their record of being successful.
“It’s really sad.”
There's a difference between being elected and being installed

Its not the channel, its YT. They dont like truth, reality, anything factual whether past or present. And if it happens often you're likely in the same boat I am & have been for the past 8-9mths & your acct is in someway flagged because you post too much factual info that they (some of their investors) would rather not be more widely known that in decades past was more common knowledge/widely known. They are not pro-US or pro- Israel either & Ive literally had comments removed for "possibly violating policy" for "possible hate speech" that are nothing more than decades &/or centuries old well documented historical facts &/or noted quotations from some certain widely available mass produced books from various time periods. I dont often get those notifications anymore, recently they are more often than not just auto deleted, guess their AI either does it automatically due to picking up on user name/flagging &/or key words possibly? Especially for replies, more often than not & more often than an OP

it is MERIT that has been replaced in a lazy, selfish, egotistical way by making it about the "surface" rather than the substance... so america has decided to choose people for tasks, not based on a greater ability over peers, which is in line with nature as "natural selection," but just like shopping for products one hasn't tied and relies on the packaging to determine every metric... this discrimination based on skin, gender, sexual orientation, etc. is all designed to create inequality since an individual can no longer apply themselves, learn a task, and then expect to be employed or find work, when there are equity quotas to meet... equity is an economic term that reduces things to a monetary value that can be bought and sold... equity is a form of slavery when applied to the human being

The problem in the US is crime is manufactured. A lot of what is considered crime in the US is not a crime in most countries in the world. So, the talking points are misleading. We can always point to anomalies. The vast amount of people that need bail are for petty crimes
I disagree that US crime is manufactured. But, we desperately in need of prison sentencing reform. No one should be imprisoned for decades for non-violent crimes.
