"IN THE EYES OF" EP.1 BEA BONAFINI - ART EXPLORA CROSS-RESIDENCY PROGRAMME AROUND THE MEDITERRANEAN

The Italian artist Bea Bonafini, based between London and Barcelona, participated in the Cross-Mediterranean Residency Programme developed as part of the Art Explora Festival. The multidisciplinary artist explores spirituality, mythology, and the interconnection between beings.
During her residency in Malta, she focused on the blending of identities and myths from trans-Mediterranean migration and trade. Bea Bonafini explored Neolithic archaeological sites and how ceramics preserve and share myths about mother goddesses and female deities.
