Ultimately, how they died is not important, it can be dangerous because by large they're deaths are known by tradition and can lead to Idolatry as tradition tends to stray away from biblical scripture, most importantly the gospels in order to satisfy man over God.
I'm not saying that you are pushing tradition, you seem to do a good job staying neutral.
But i'd like to point this out to any would be readers.
    ‭Acts 10:25-26
[25] When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him. [26] But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I too am a man.
Even a apostle of Jesus' most inner circle apart from James and John rebuked a man for worshipping him.
Our catholic brethren deliberately overlook things like this to satisfy they're tradition, especially words from Peter, one of the highest regarded saints in Roman catholicism.
Whats most important is that we live by every word from Christ's mouth, trusting in his completed work on the cross.
The 12 did they're duty and are in heaven with our Lord.
They're service to Jesus and the awesome works they did to spred the gospel to Jew and Gentile should not be looked past what is recorded in Gods word.
    In Christ.
