You and Eagle Eyes need to start your own reality TV show. Great work as always. Very exciting not only seeing what you pull up, but giving us a history of what it was used for supported with photos.
Hi, just wanted to say that this is truly my favourite channel. My dad served in the British Merchant Marine and RN in the war, and both my brother and I have been keen amateur historians of that period. Your channel awakes the kid in me who loves exploring as you do, so I guess I kind of feel myself living vicariously through you hehe. Just a question: Have you thought of snorkeling, or even scuba diving? I get the feeling you may have in previous videos, but I can't recall. Following on from that - I was thinking you may want to make a bucket with a plexiglass bottom so you can see what lies beneath as you wade out. You could also take a cheap, plastic inflatable kiddie boat with you to put the finds in as you go, instead of having to wade back to shore every time you find a large item. Dang, I really am living vicariously here lol. Can't wait for your next adventure - Cheers!
Great finds again, you and Eagle Eyes get the Lucky Dog for finding that German helmet! That was a very cool video, going out and putting your hands on history has got to be the coolest thing ever! When I was a young Marine and stationed in Okinawa Japan I found a number of things just by accident, an old Marine Corps helmet and a rusty 45 cal. Pistol more than ounce, hand grenades. Love your work, you are one of my favorite U-TUBER. 👍👍👍👍👍❤🇺🇸
First, your a good Dad in my opinion. I love watching your shows as there is so much history in them. I collect bayonets so I go by the name Bayo-Hunter. Thanks to Covid I am stuck inside and unable to go to antique shops or gun shows to hunt for bayonets and helmets. Hence, your searches keep me entertained and teach me quite a lot. Thank you for your good work, sincerely yours from Richard Abbenbroek in Calgary Alberta Canada.
OH MY GRAVY!!!! Amazing finds. And way to go EE!! Sweet finds on the ammo belt, magazine and helmet. I was yelling at ya when you dropped the mg magazine. I said,"OH no,you dropped it,ah!!!" Glad you found both parts. I really love it when you do the magnet fishing. Hope you go back to that spotbagain. OH, about time you got those waders. Now we can really go out more and get some other goodies lol.
AWESOME, you weren't kidding about the title (going terribly right). So many things in one place, I hope you go back to this place soon. Thank you and EE so much for your history lessons.
Hey guys I was hoping you would do a episode of magnet fishing again. I really enjoy those because you go to the locations were the germans were and the odds are pretty good that your going to find some good stuff as you did today. It does help when you have the tools to do the job like those magnet poles. Hope to see you guys go back to the German trash pit as well and dig up some cool stuff. Great job! All the best! 🇺🇲
Hunter: yay, cartridge! Later breaks the nice magazine, sinks into riverbed. Eagle eyes: casually pulls out machine gun belt, recognizes the part of heel iron prior to dad (he said "it's from shoe"), pays attention to other side of the magnet (there was another cartridge), finds extremely cool stuff, not sinks in a riverbed. I think you have some serious competition 😁Little guy is gonna outHistoryHunt you in no time. Love the video, my favorite series is magnet fishing. Absolutely loved that you went straight into the water.
Holy Madonna. Now that's the kind of fishing I can get behind ! And such a variety of bits and pieces. I would spend days combing every inch of that little pond. So amazing. Well done to both of you, especially Eagle Eyes in finding that MG belt almost straight away, and you, finding that helmet. Just WOW. Seriously WOW. This video just made my day. The enthusiasm you both give off is just so infectious. fantastic work! Cheers to you both!
What a honey hole for artifacts! So many amazing finds, it's typical that you get a cartridge and EE gets an entire belt!😄 Love the helmet, it's awesome! Great hunt, guys!💖
What an incredible search. The most amazing finds! Thanks for sharing! (Back with you after a little break following my bad luck with home etc with covid). You Will have another patron soon. Paul.

Glad you found both parts. I really love it when you do the magnet fishing. Hope you go back to that spotbagain. OH, about time you got those waders. Now we can really go out more and get some other goodies lol.
Time will tell and very glad to share with you Colleen. Thanks and greetings from us.
AWESOME, you weren't kidding about the title (going terribly right). So many things in one place, I hope you go back to this place soon. Thank you and EE so much for your history lessons.
Thanks Allen and greetings from us.
If I went magnet fishing locally I might find some used needles or a shopping trolley your finds are always next level
ok and thanks for comment and for watching.
More to come my friend and thanks for comment and for watching.
Awesome, great idea of using the strong magnets when you can't use the fish!! Thank you
You bet!
Excellent fishing trip! When I go fishing, all I get is a bass or maybe a perch - lol
Thanks for watching
I just love your videos with you and your son and it must be SUCH a thrill and to find a German Helmet. Wow.
It actually is very exciting to share this with my children. Thanks Tessa.
There you go :) Thanks for taking time to comment and watch.
Yup, Eagle Eyes should take over the running of the channel. He finds much better quality artifacts 😉
Very glad to read that Peter and boy am i glad we found this little pond and the history in the area. Thanks and stay safe.
