@@oldrover3007 Thanks for the reply. There is a entire story behind his journey. His brother ended up in Europe somewhere but he never had contact after the war. His sister , my Aunt was the only relative I got to know as she and him were brought to the US. Even then both of them crossed the ocean in two different ships but connected once they got here. I believe he and some other children escaped from a train. He ended up in an orphanage in Austria before America brought survivors over. It was hard to get info from him growing up as he pretty much tried to block out what he went through, and I could never find info on my grand parents from their names searching online. He did though enlist in the Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict when he was a little older. I always wished I could visit where he grew up, it's like a part of my heritage thats missing. Thanks again for your reply.

@@jasoneric6303 I figured there was more to the story . Although you weren’t able to find too much Imfo , what you did find is very interesting and stories like it are worth telling. They are part of the reason my father and many thousands volunteered to help free Europe . That story and Men like your father are what makes America great .

I can't watch these videos without feeling jealous. I live in Canada, and where I live the most major historical event that occurred was a battle in 1813. Someone in my area (Digging Canuck on YT), found a badge apparently. Musket balls aren't uncommon either. Even though I have family that had fought, I don't have any of their belongings other than a post-war pocket knife, or pictures from the 40s. Yet another great video, keep up the great work.

Great finds!!! I myself found an MG15 Magazine too, together with an MG15exchange-barrel. The remaining parts in the magazine are actually no rounds but were put there at the end of a magazineload in case the spring didn´t function as it should, like when it was overused and not as strong as it used to be, then still all the real bullets would be pushed to the MG.

I am immediately surprised about the location and what is being found.
You are well equipped with all the gear.
The curiosity has been well rewarded.
    EE immediately hits the jackpot.
WOW, a 20mm, oh no, it can be even bigger.

Nice work. The only advice when fishing, it doesn't matter if it is with a hook or a magnet. Bring what you caught straight out of water in safety ! The more time you keep it over water, the more chances to loose it ! Keep safe and keep up the good work !

What great finds. To me the most interesting was the MG cause it’s almost whoever was shooting stopped for some reason and it was dropped. There’s no telling the story behind. Love it.

Years ago I was working in the construction field. We were doing repairs on the memorial bridge in Springfield Massachusetts that spans the Connecticut River. We were on scaffolding underneath the bridge when one of the guys accidentally dropped a big hammer drill into the water. We decided to try and fish it out the following day with magnets before breaking the bad news to the jobsite superintendent. Springfield being a gang infested craphole we pulled out about 10 illegal guns of all kinds likely used in crimes. Never did find the hammer drill lol. Great video as always.
