I live in Southern Louisiana less than 100 yards from the Pearl River, which feeds the waters of Honey Island Swamp. I've heard some weird stuff and seen some too.
The scream I heard made every hair on my body stand straight out. Freaked me out. I've never been back to that spot.

Heard it scream and saw these same kinda tracks out there exploring. I can strongly sense and feel They're presence out there.
They have them here in Mississippi not far from Honey Island where I live. And YES I've encountered them. I rather people leave them be. Enjoy learning and talking about em. As long as people don't try to kill em'.

@@southernfoods7302 the old Cajuns told me a long time ago that East Texas and Arkansas and Mississippi and Louisiana share the same creatures! The old Cajuns believe that there are a tribe that travels the water ways back and forth between the 4 states and they are different than the northern sasquatch the southern Bigfoot seems to be a lot more lean and athletically built and they seem to have a more Ape look compared to its northern cousins! I live in Metairie Louisiana and I grew up hunting and fishing Louisiana and had my only sighting at 8 years old duck hunting with my father! I'm 57 years old now and I do my own research on the creatures! I totally agree with you that they should not be killed for the evidence needed to get them on the books! Hopefully we find a body on something! Peace out!
I have hunted in Honey Island swamp along the west pearl river since the 1970's. There are several cryptids living there. The 3 toed track cast that she shows in this video in not from the sasquatch that Harlin Ford caught on video. It is from a creature about 4 foot tall with appendages that look like wings, are often in trees and are very shy. Most hunters never see them because they run off when they hear a hunter approaching. I only saw these creatures 3 times in Honey Isl;and Swamp. I did see the 3 toed tracks on several occasions and always near the river. The Sasquatch is there too, about 7 to 8 foot tall and covered in hair with a face that looks very human. Often at sundown, I would hear it roaring. When it was close to us, it would make my stomach organs seem to vibrate while it yelled. Most of the time it was very far away when it yelled. The sound will give you goose bumps when you hear it.
I only heard it and saw tracks from it.

When I was a kid my dad and my uncle used to run slat traps in the Ponds off of interstate 59 in the honey hole in the honey Island swap for catfish and one day when they were running their slat trap boxes for catfish there was something moving the trees and pulling trees down ,that was not human like, they mentioned it to me when I was a kid and I remember that distinctly it never scared me ,it intrigued me actually and now when I bring it up to my uncle and my dad they don’t remember seeing it strange occurrences maybe telepathic maybe not
I bet your family was picked by the Shymen of the Forest to be given a "Great Gift". I believe that your family was allowed to be "Generational Helpers". They're the ones who can get to see and come close to knowing the crytpid's history. This just isn't possible for many of us.

Two of my friends growing up used to hurt hogs in the Honey Island Swamp and they had a encounter one night camping and they have never been back since!!!

Like you said, "you can tell if someone is not telling the truth", The ones that have seen them and talk to you about the exp. They almost always, flash back, They may have been armed but you can see fear in thier eyes because it's not just another animal. It's an entity that is real and when they say it can reason: It is hunting you. It's like another Person and they are hunting you and thier entire body is designed for the hunt and thier way of hunting is in a pack. Where is the one that you can't see as you looking at the one that is trying to make you look only at them. It is real and can be Life & death not just trying to scare you off. Even here in Nebraska we have found trees that have been uprooted snapped and pile driven into the ground with the root ball stretching outward 5 to 10 ft wide root ball of the tree is up almost 15 ft in the air. and these trees you can, just only, put your arms around are stuck about 4 feet in the ground. when the crops are high these things can be anywhere close to homes and after harvest to early summer they will stick to the creek & river tree lines until it gets dark out. I found the story to be 100 % true. The one thing people always forgets is just one thing . They live there. These animals , are not that complicated . Like people make them out to be, scary darn things , truly a heart stopper , if he jumped you. But they need a certain environment , they have needs just like any other species , but they aren't everywhere . Not by a long shot . Peace .

We were driving from Slidell to Pearl River on a very dark night with a full moon when it jumped across a very wide ditch and ran across the road in front of us!! YES!! I know it exists!!
they're real. i do not speak as a believer but a knower, i know they exist. i have seen them. twice when i was just a young boy, of 13 y/o this happened a very long time ago. i can remember it like it was just a few months ago. the fear for our life was put a impact on us, you never forget Fear. i can remember things i'd rather not say here, life is not fair when the world is blind to their own evil deeds, our eyes are closed and our ears have ceased to hear, because our hearts are never opened. we try to share our encounters yet it falls on the deaf ears. we try to show them the truth. yet called liars for doing so, the world is evil, yet the earth is wonderfully made. when we know our truth, just as much as we know our enemies. we conquered a thousand battles without drawing a sword

Hi, the only thing strange is creature has 3 toes, very unusual. Most Big Foots have similar human like toes. So maybe yours is a different species. I’m pretty much a non-believer but I’m open to the possibilities. Your story sounded realistic. More than most.
But notice it is web shaped. like a beaver or nutria rat. It's built for the terrain of the swamp. The people that seen it said it's human looking in the face like many other varieties encountered.. these Southern skunk apes or type of Sasquatch are a specific creature of they're own kind through the Southern States

@@scicchiello they are going off of a rumor! The same rumor also said that guys came down to make a movie or video and they are the ones who made the shoes and made tracks for the movie slash video! But it's all rumors trying to discredit Harland Ford just like people tried to discredit Patterson's video by claiming that they were in a monkey suit!!!! Nothing but haters and rumors!!!!

You see, Dana is my cousin, Harlan, my Grandfather, and to take it one step further, the “Angie and Perry” Dana spoke of in the video... my Mom and Dad.... so I guess I felt like I wanted this person to tell me more about these “shoes” they speak of.. and even more so, about this big TORNADO.... because in my entire life I don’t remember anything of the sort.... hurricanes... yes... many... but no tornado that blew through town disrupting “hoax” items that were hidden somewhere... Although it MIGHT have been cool to be the ones to land a house on the “wicked swamp monster of the south”... however I don’t think we would have seen a big celebration like they threw for Dorothy, as no one that I’ve ever heard of wants to hurt this beast. That INCLUDES my Grandfather AND my Mom and Dad! For the record, I get that some people will be skeptical, there will always be those... but making up total lies just rips my britches!! Bottom line, like Dana, I believed the accounts I was told by my family, just the same as dozens of others that have come forward and told eerily similar tales of the ones I grew up knowing!! Besides, to know my Pap, you would know that at any given time he had numerous things he enjoyed doing... I just don’t see him having the time or inclination to care about some monster that was make believe...!!!! But ALAS... haters go on and hate... we don’t mind. It gives us something to talk about!!! @@scicchiello you don't have to convince me! Two of my childhood friends had a encounter with the beast in the Honey Island Swamp! They used to hog hunt and one weekend they went much deeper than they had ever been and during the night it paid them a visit! Neither one would go hunting again! I was a teenager when that happened and I'm 55 years old now! Both were having panic attacks while trying to tell me what happened to them!!!

There has been a lot of doubt cast upon the footprints, I'm personally quite skeptical about the tracks themselves. That being said other sightings and stories in the area stretch beyond the particular tracks in question.
@@AleksPetakov Yeah, sounds right. I remember seeing a video on youtube several years ago about it. Remember it centering on the footprints. They found a cut out or something right?
@@Cheeseburger.Launch.Sequence I believe it was a boot with a gator like foot attached to the bottom. Not 100% but recall something along those lines.
When he originally saw it and told people of it, they made fun of him. Then supposedly he "found" the prints and made castings of them to get people to believe him. I think eventually he admitted they were fake. When he passed, his family found the 8mm movie he made of it. Why he didn't show off the video when he made it confuses me still.
Also they're a supernatural being and I love them, SO AMAZING!!
Looked like a Baboon, had amber eyes and that track. It sounds more like a Dogman than anything else. Or something much closer to a Dogman than a Sasquatch.

The Old Testiment says when the Gods came to Earth from the heavens they admired the daughters of man and mated with them. The children that were born were giants, perhaps Bigfoot is related to them.

My name is dwayne holley and I am from Pearl River Louisiana grew up there all my life my family two generations are from Pearl River and I don’t doubt by any means that there are things in the swamp that are unexplained ,I have not had an experience myself but I know the credible people that Miss Holyfield speaks of there’s a forest people and they’ve been here a long time before us we should appreciate their knowledge ,and their space just like we want our space. Check out Sasquatch Ontario and Colorado Bigfoot to understand the crazy dichotomy and to know that we don’t know so much of our own planet don’t judge these people they’re good wholesome loving people ,and the forest people are just trying to fit in like the rest of us!!We are the change we’ve been looking for

I believe you,I saw that show,where those 2 guys tried to debunk,your father. I guess,talk is cheap,to ppl,w/o experience. In KY, we have some multiple creatures,reported. One is the dogman. The interview, w/ppl in KY, they know. One place in the 80's,they(authorities) found a trailer,with the door torn off,ppl torn apart,and one person, 20 ft in a tree,outside,dead. We have Bigfoot's,that are elusive,that don't seem violent. I know,they probably are pissed,from the trash,and pollution, in our state.
