To some extent, Yes. But can't completely eradicate the issue, cause all we are doing is just adjusting the preload compression. And a wrong setting would throw the rear off the ground, we have to be careful with that.
Ur channel should grow more soon..really nice contents... you know I was about to change my headlight set up on duke 250 bs4 but after watching your video where it says it's not possible I changed my mind but if u think are any little hopes where you and me can get that halogen headlamps changed with the LED headlamp unit
Bhai...mere pass apache rtr 160 4v...m usme side mirror lagana chahta hu. Lekin bar ends ko bhi hatana nai chahta... Kaise laga skte hain dono ko el sath??
Not sure. Need to see the vehicle to decide if it can be done. But this bar end mirror set also has weights in it unlike other ones, so even if you remove the existing you'll still have some bar end weights to it.
Good question. Most times there is no such issue even with gloves. But I would recommend a one with slightly lengthier bar ends to resolve that. Currently only official accesories of KTM and Triumph has that.. I have given a order to triumph like 4 months back, still part hasn't arrived. Will try to do a review post that.. 👍
I was doubting the same before using it. But nothing significant enough to find any difference. And also duke's handlebar doesn't really vibrate because of its rake and trail angle.
That's some good options you have, but people have different riding styles within city. Some like to do enthusiastic city rides, some like to be relaxed and have a plush ride throughout. If you are the first category, forget all other brands, pick Duke 200/250 and you won't regret one bit, If you are second, take Yamaha FZ25. Also consider Apache RTR 200 4v (this has more features) if possible. I have test driven it, it's a brilliant city bike. If you have a good tvs dealer nearby, get that. Else if you need a fun bike, but tight on budget, and can settle for something which is not premium, then take Gixxer 250 without doubt. Because apart from being heavy, I really liked that Gixxer. Hope it helped. 😊 Please do like, share and subscribe, so you get to see more awesome automobile content.. 😊 safe ride
Good question. From what I enquired to a traffic police constable an year back, as far mirrors are considered, it's only illegal if they are not there in your bike. And mirrors are part of mandatory accesories list like your side stand, number plate holder, saree and mud guards as per indian motor law, and as you know these are installed by default in all bikes which comes out of the showroom but are of different designs. So from what I know, you don't need to worry about the placement or design of the accessory but only make sure that it's present. Hope it helped 😊 Do subscribe if you like our content 😊
Lol I was also planning to install these....but trust me they're worst in rainy season.....you won't get a shit idea about what's coming from behind lol.... specially in ghat section....lol
When you use the clutch..does they hit the bar end mirrors. Cause i own a mt 15 and i bought bar end mirror ( not this one)..and my clutch s end was discolored by hitting it ...should i get these for my yamaha MT 15 ?
It's perfectly fine if you are a single rider for most of the time, it only becomes a problem when you have pillion and bad roads.. I'm making a seperate video on the negatives of this bike soon, so kindly subscribe to stay tuned 😊
You will need to make a cut at the end of your handlebar to the size of a coin to install barends, as Duke 200's doesn't have a hole to install the same..
Bro i have a slight problem. I own a Vitpilen 250, i can easily fit the left side bar end mirror but i when i fit the throttle side, it sometimes jams and doesn't spring back when you rev and release. Got any solution to this problem? Should i get like a longer screw or am i missing something?
1. There is no space to put my hand in the handlebar if I wear gloves. 2. Has a drag, and affects in high speeds. 3. More over like I said in the video, it's a personal choice and betal shaped ones look at its best when placed upside down.
I thought they would do the job if placed over but yeah gloves argument is acceptable. It might create the problem. I like the ones on street triple RS. They just seem fine.
It would be better both ways if the clamp is any longer and the mirrors are any bigger. The problem is that these replicas don't have that. 😒 I checked with ktm and triumph, they don't have the stock in my area. So when that's available, ill do a review of it. 👍
You might have to cut the handlebar end to the size of a coin and do this installation, as from what I remember the bs6 duke 200 still has the handlebar from the old version.
Ah.. I see.. Yours doesn't have a socket for this barend.. what you can do is, cut out the rubber in your handlebar end to the size of a coin, and get a 7/8" barend mirror set, to fix it there.. hope it helped! 😊
Bike is yet to go for 1st service. Will post a video on that once it's done. Do subscribe to get notified 😊 For now, with mixed city and highway ride, I'm getting from 31.5 to 34.5km/l
30 is a decent number. Actually it depends on how you ride. So far, as it's a new bike I have not rev'd it more than 5.5k in any gear. Additionally mileage is affected by many others factors as well, like tyre pressure, load on bike, road elevations, throttle handling etc.,
please make a video on mods which are legal and illegal..like exhaust, stickering and more..i know a bit, but i need to know about it more. and will ktm provide this bar end mirrors?
Sure will try to make one. Yeah KTM has a barend mirror as a powerpart, but you have to import it. It should cost you like 10-13k in india after taxes. You can also try the triumph ones if you want, but they are even more costly like a set costs 19k. So the choice is yours.
Yes. But again I maintain a strict rule to not push the vehicle beyond 5000rpm in any gear(till 1st service) and have optimum tyre pressure based on load. So it depends on the rider.
Each and every time you have to take your eyes off the road and move your head down to see mirror and finally you may end up with tragedy. And it is also capable of pulling thread like things along with the bike like any rope, salwars hanging out of the nearby vehicles, At high speeds even a second is a matter of life. Trust me these mirrors are just for appearance, they are dangerous and totally useless.
Exactly, not just that, I can barely see a thing, my arms would be blocking most of the view in the mirror. Totally not recommended, especially in India.
Ek dam waste mirrors...would suggest not to buy.. Area of view not at all good.(zyada kuch dikta nai hai) Light reflect hoke directly eyes ke paas ati hai..so it feels flashy Very much delicate..as it's made of aluminium.. mine got broke in 2 days(kyun ki maine adjusters to zyada tight kardia toh bar toot gaya) Not worth spending

Is duke 200 bs6 and duke 250 bs6 handle bar exactly same or minor difference???
Awesome content dude..keep going..
Umm I have a Yamaha FZ V2 will it fit on it ?
Thanks bud! For V2 FZ you might have to cut the rubber of the size of a coin and fix it.
@@Didium will it look good and professional bro ?
My take is that bar ends suit street naked bikes at best than super sports or adventure bikes, so it should be good in fz.

After removing the bar end weights then using bar end mirrors , does handle gives any vibrations ??
Mostly not, cause the mirror and the holder balances the weight

Always love to meet another rider 😊

Can I see clear road on the right side mirror because I think your hand would be obstacle ...
I thought the same during the installation, but luckily that was not much of a problem. I could see whatever the mirror had to offer

What about ktm duke 200 they dont have bar ends. How can we install there?
Yeah. But if it has the holes to fit one, then you should be able to. I think it has..

You will need spacers to resolve this, it creates space for the throttle to rotate freely. Get it from KTM. It's 32rs per piece.
@@Didium Oh is it the small round rubber ones that come with the mirror set?
Not sure how to describe it. I will be talking about it in this video and will also purchase one. Take a look: ua-cam.com/video/QRkCDLX59co/v-deo.html
Can't we attach both the bar end mirror and the hand guards?
Unless you make a customized one, No

That im not sure, but I know how much those black alloys cost from KTM.
