If you are using a low spec PC/ Laptop you can use custom scaling at a factor of 1.6.. It would be just a little compromise on quality but the performance would be exceptional (I recommend NIS or FSR as scaling method)
The reason why Avaters didn't give much fps is coz frame gen uses a lot of vram so already when fg was off it used almost 8gigs so the framge gen didnt helped there much due to less vram

Hi! I'm not an expert on the subject but from what I understand you need to limit the game to the number you get from dividing your maximum amount of hz / 3. Example: 144hz monitor / 3 = 48 fps Once you have limited simply activate the duckling (lossless scaling) and it should work perfectly, at least in my case it works that way I hope it has helped you, good luck! EDIT: You can limit it to half as well, it doesn't have to be / 3. That is 144hz / 2 = 72 fps
i have the same question, currently i’m playing Elden Ring on my 144hz monitor. i usually reach stable 58-60fps on High setting, but 60fps on 144Hz monitor does not feels really good, so i’m planning to try the option X2 FG which will set my fps to 116-120fps (theoretically). bro i have 75hz monitor which mode should i choose in lossless scaling 2x or 3x. i usually get 45-65 fps in every game and i play with controller so latency is not big problem for me plz suggest
LSS comes at a performance cost, so if you have native 40-50 fps, with lss, the base fps will drop to generate false ones. Which will be a bad gaming experience, much better if you just use fsr, unless you have a cpu bottleneck like me.
They were likely using an external recorder, as yeah, you can't record it with obs or pretty much about other software, because it's an overlay onto the screen

A little heavy. If your game is already CPU dependent and that's your bottleneck, you probably shouldn't get LSFG. That's the mistake I made. But if your GPU is the bottleneck and the CPU is comfortably sitting below ~80% all the time, LSFG can be a real lifesaver.
Upgrade your cpu. 11400f is an absolute bargain now. GPU bottleneck can easily be dealt with using fsr, reduce settings... But CPU bottleneck is much harder to fix

Don't cap, that only makes the input lag worse; instead, uses the in-game frame limit. If you limit to 60 fps you will end up with 120

Use X2 mode, using it you'll reach your 75 needed fps and you won't have as much latency and graphical issues as X3 has
Reduce the monitor refresh rate to 70hz then lock the game fps to 35. it works pretty good with the 2x lossless scaling that way.

I have an RX 580 4GB graphics card, but whenever I use the application, there is a serious fps drop, lag and serious image deterioration.
Maybe your fps are way too low.
That's normal, it's recommended to have a 20% overhead when using LS. Also 4GB is rough since you have no VRAM to play with.

I found this totally unusable sadly. When fps goes up, you expect latency to go down. The game's motion looks better but feels MUCH worse to play.
