- Winter brings with it a different set of chores and opportunities, such as plowing snow and working in the basement wood shop. But is anything on UA-cam real? Or is it all made up?

Watching this sitting in 70 deg sunshine in central Texas.
Surprised you haven't forged a set of egg pans.
Those prepared boards looked flawless.
.....those trees must of gotten some good snow for growing.
It's some of the nicest pine I have ever seen. Also some of the most expensive
Hello @@JohnSwitzer There is some sort of pine that grows around here. The tree guys don't like it because it has too many knots and is weak.
I enjoy cutting it on my sawmill and use it for framing small things like sheds....nothing super important.
Working with poplar is fun, but I admit I have a soft spot for soft pine.
tHanks for the video
Peace ✌🏼
Now that I’ve started crocheting last year, I can’t help but notice what looks like beautiful hand knit sweaters you wear. If Janet made them, I hope you send my compliment her way.
No, she doesn't knit. These are all store bought
@@JohnSwitzer oh okay. Shows you how much I know lol
Always a pleasure, never any doubt about reality when it's one of your videos. Of course they're edited, rather nicely I must say. Just finished a complicated forging project, and will be doing a wooden wind spinner for the Mrs. tomorrow, so will be thinking of you in your woodshop.
Bad weather has us both in the wood shop! Managed to finish a large set of bookshelves, and a small side table in the last couple weeks of mud!
Great vid. Beautiful work on those wood joints!
Thanks 👍
Thanks John, I enjoyed it - that arbuckles coffee brand brings back memories boondocking in and around tuscon!
Some people like that white stuff,i for one have seen enough for two lifetimes, stay warm and keep up the good work 👍
Great video. I'm looking forward to seeing the loom making videos. I think looms are pretty amazing machines. And I do have to say your video making skills are greatly improving, so fun to see.
loved the video and variety in music :)
I enjoyed this, and I know the struggle. It's anywhere from 4:1 to 100:1 filming time : final video length, plus squeezing life in between sessions.
As always great job and interesting content.. I have the same 236 skid steer yet I have the enclosed and heated cab.. you deserve that option.. its toooo cold for anyone to drive around with no door on that baby..
Nice video John. Good luck on the loom project.
Thanks 👍
What kind of pets do you have?
Good morning

Our pleasure!
You are telling a story with video ; not by talking.
Let your video speak…..
Nice work
