Love the 44! I agree it goes unnoticed compared to the 18, 75 and others. This knife is the perfect edc and if I had to pick one case stockman to carry, it would be the 44. It's size is why I carry knives such as the buck 303, Case med jack, and Schrade 33/34ot's. Thanks for shedding some light on this great pattern!😀👍🏻
I’m really enjoying your videos. Common sense, with lots of usable info and insights. I have carried Case knives for a long time. It would be nice to see some ‘how to’ videos on cleaning and polishing an old user that needs beautified. Thanks for what you’re doing. It seems like I have a new friend since finding your channel. 😊
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews For a few days now I've been using a Mini Trapper Red American Workman with CS steel. And I love it when the blade gets a patina. It looks so good. Tomorrow evening I'm getting a Mini Trapper Grey Bone Pocket Worn and a Medium Stockman Yellow Synthetic. Both with carbon steel. I'm particularly looking forward to the Stockman. I saw in your videos how good the yellow looks with the dark carbon blade. I think the yellow Stockman and the yellow Trapper will be my favorite knives. But actually they're all great. You can't decide which one to put in your pocket in the morning.
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews Yes, exactly the 3318. I think that will be my knife for the little things during the day. And the yellow 3254 for everything else.
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews Yes, definitely lighter, which I appreciate, as they are not "nail busters." Also, I think the joint pivots feel exceptionally smooth to me. It's a really well done knife. Mine has the double liners in the center. I suppose that could be just to help prevent blade rub.
Nice knife, I’ve got one with this shield except it is navy blue bone (slightly darker) and just wanted to say that it has only one brass spacer in the middle not 2. I thought that was interesting. Thanks for shedding light on the weaker main spring, I thought mine was just getting wore out.
@@That_ac_dude I think my knife just turned out lighter blue for some reason, natural materials I guess. Case's newer #33 pattern knives have two liners in the middle also where the older models didn't. I don't know why, good to know that the older #44s had single liners also. Thanks man 👍🏻

That is a little beauty!, ill have to get a 44 pattern, thanks!
@@michaelgentile6418 Thank you.

Hi. I just watched several of your videos in a row. Had to catch up on a lot 😅.
@@WZ13 Have you got your knives in yet? If so what do you think of them?

@WZ13 I know what you mean!
Sometimes it takes way too long to decide. Is your Yellow Stockman the 3318?

I have to go to bed. I hope you have a nice evening. I think it's still early evening for you. It's just midnight for me. See you later.
My 6344 in Rogers corn cob jig blue bone with the "bow tie" shield is one of my favorite knives.
@@WilliamParmley Yeah mine too. Does yours have slightly lighter back springs than other knives in your opinion?

Looks like a great stockman!
