Just doing a small afternoon project on the house! Ya know, jacking the house up, cutting out a main support sill plate, and replacing it with pressure treated lumber all before suppertime.
@@FloridaTwoWheelAdventures Sorry to hear that. BE CAAREFUL crawling around under there and jacking up the house. I might go with a 6x6 instead of the 4x4 (I always over build 😉).

@@hazcat640 I have a 6x6 to mend into the sill beam but it looks like it might’ve been 8x8 originally. The little part that’s not completely rotted out is hefty. I’m going to attempt to sister into it. I’ll be are careful as can be! The 4x4 is doing a good enough job propping up the joists. I’ll be implementing something more permanent if I can get that sill beam figured out.
