hovermotion Liliput cars have an odd sliding car steps to allow the NEM couplers to swing in curves. If they don't slide smooth they cause derailments. Two thinks that you can do. Put a tiny amount of plastic compatible lube on the sliding edges of steps and add some weight in the cars (10oz). To open those DRG skirted Liliput cars is a pita.
I did try to lube the parts but they kept derailing , I could not be bothered adding weight I just wanted to get shot of them..so I sold them within a week of buying them.....

truebras By the way the main complaint about the Liliput model is about derailments. That is one problem that I didn't see in the Marklin model.
I had the same problem with a coach set made by liliput ...so sold them on ..
