13:18 That's a pretty famous statue alluding to the ancient latin legend of the twin brothers Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. They were to be executed as babies, but were instead abandoned in the wild, where they were saved by a rivergod. In the most famous episode of the tale, they were suckled by a she-wolf, before they were eventually adopted by a shepherd. Those are just some cornerstones of the legend to explain that statue, but I strongly recommend you read up on the whole story if you don't know it, it's really epic.
Wanna point out something in this episode. You see how Polnareff meets Diavolo's true form at the bottom of the stairs? Remember when Polnareff met DIO the second time? He met DIO at the top of the stairs. DIO means God Diavolo means Devil. Polnareff literally met God at the top of the "stairway to heaven" but couldn't reach it because DIO kept putting him back down. And he literally met the Devil at the bottom of the stairs and when he tried to launch himself up into the sky again (Heaven) he got dragged down. Polnareff is literally a man who met God and the Devil at the top and bottom of the stairs and was completely denied to go to heaven twice by now. This is peak symbolism and hinting.
13:12 This is a sculpture of a she-wolf who rescued and fed children who were abandoned. The two children are Romulus and Remus, the founders of the city of Rome. It is a story from Roman mythology that has become a symbol of the city of Rome(for example you can see this sculpture on the logo of the As Roma football club) 🤓☝️
In case you are still confused on how KC works, whatever Diavolo and/or Doppio see in Epitaph (the future sight) is 100% going to happen. It’s not a choose your own path type shit. It’s quite literally seeing into the future. It WILL happen. So whenever he skips time, any damage done to his opponent will happen because they were fated to happen. That’s how sliced the fortune teller’s arm off that one time when he was skipping time.
He erases time thats why it looks like he is entering some sort of domain because nothing can exist in erased time. Because it is his ability he can freely move around without anyone noticing. It just feels like a skip for the others
@@hardcoregaymer706I meant that, as well. I was saying that he is traveling forward into a new part of time that is actually relevant to him in that he can be effected. I just say “skip” because that feels more comprehensive than “erase”.
@@silverstream4048 Kinda like a comic strip going length-wise on a long paper with several panels of the inbetween actions The first panel would be epitaph showing what the final panel is and he folds the paper.
I believe I mentioned this in a previous video, but if Giorno turns an object into a replacement piece for another organism, that change is irreversible.

I love how he's always hyped in these reactions
Crazy Diamond wouldn’t have been able to do anything for Polnareff as his condition is now considered his permanent status quo

@@TecTitan exactly, and Diavolo’s time skip is him being cut out and glued to the final panel with the one in the future absent.
