You are correct 020000 is an Em7 chord. However I'm playing xx2030. The notes are E, G, D, and E from low to high. Root, third, 7th, and root. An A7sus4 is x02030. Root (A), 5th (E), 7th (G), 4 (D), 5th (E). Also an Em7 can be 022030 - E B E G D E, The E G B is the E minor chord and the D is the 7.

It can be easier with even 1 finger, if easy was the issue.

Talking about simple. instead of the high D you have a high B. Open string D is involved what makes it a seventh.
