Theres a clear winner and thats Durham county. Everywhere else is over priced .the city might
be a little pricy but 10 mins out lovley people lovley counyryside lovley prices
You can still rent below £500 per month or buy a newbuild for umder £100k and theres lots of work available

some of those locations are cheaper for a reason. stoke on trent has the highest murders across the uk and is not an area for people of colour.

telford is nice but has a bad history. look up black men hanged telford. also the national front are always protesting there. i dont feel as though it is an area of calm. but location wise it is nice
