How do you push past platinum and diamond elos as a support player? Is duoing the only way to climb? How much game knowledge does it take to be able to climb on your own?
Definitely possible. Gleeb carried himself as support to challenger many many times. Duoing is easier obviously, but you can do it without a duo as well. It's a matter of winning more lanes, landing more skillshots, making more plays, etc. Like any other role really.

I went from silver 1 season 3 to diamond 4 season 4 by maining thresh. 140 games compared to Vi which had like 35
