I'm so sick of videos sped up SO MUCH that I get Migraines!! 😱😫😫 And ONE Channel, spends 90% of the Videos TALKING and bantering - and 10% showing the FINISHED PRODUCT!!! 😬😮 TOTAL FAIL, IMO..... So thanks for actually showing the ENTIRE process!!! 👍👍🍻🍻🍻
Nice tip holding smaller stickers or masks with an xacto blade. So simple, yet I never thought of it. I would usually try to fumble small stickers in to place with just my fingers.

I want to do some detail painting on my RC's chassis, rims, bumpers etc. I want to use enamel paints as I have a huge selection of Testors Enamel Model paint colors and I'd rather not have to buy new paint if I don't have to. The parts that I want to paint are made out of PVC. Do you know if Enamel paints will stick to PVC?? Or do I have to use a different kind of paint, if so what kind?
i have never painted a body but im getting ready to try one but its only gonna be one color......metallic blue with no designs. So you dont paint the outside at all just the inside? Sorry im kinda confused
I have a clear body that didn't come with an outer overstay mask. is there something I can use to cover the outer part? I don't want to use masking tape.
Cut open flat a plastic bag & tape it to the bottom edge wrapping it to cover the whole outer body,scrunch & tape the plastic bag so it hugs the body contours & is easier to handle.
Thank God you washed all of the fingerprints off before you started.... would've been a shame to have had latent prints along with all of your fresh ones....
Transfer tape is just designed to hold together designs that have multiple lines. The small scallops that I used you don't need transfer tape. It is really nothing more than a wide stripe of paint mask.

Mike T I prefer the Blue painters tape because it does not leave a residue like the regular masking tape does

After washing the body to remove oils and such, how do you put the mask on without putting more fingerprints and oils back on the body?
When washing the body it also will clean the oils off of your hands so you don't get finger prints on the body.
you also can use a liquid mask
and just apply with a brush.

wear latex free gloves
Gloves, once you wash your hands your body starts replenishing the oils you washed off.

Rain RC I found a container of clear drying film at my local hobby shop. I'll try that when it warms up.
