Love this oven! We’ve had our Ninja double oven for a week now, and we’ve made several things in it-pizza, cookies, toast, fish, chicken strips, fries, casseroles, and sweet potato fries. We used both ovens (bake) and the air fry features. Everything has turned out great. As a senior, the size is perfect for smaller portions, and this little oven is easier to use for us. I have spinal stenosis with a lot of back pain involved in bending and leaning over, so this little oven is much easier and safer for me vs. fighting a big oven door at a lower position. I have cut my 9x13 pan recipes in half and used smaller pans to accommodate. I can see how this would use much less electricity and would also not heat up the kitchen much in the summer. Opening the door to check or remove food from the bottom oven has not affected the food that was cooking in the top oven. I have not yet tried this oven to bake homemade dinner rolls or to use a loaf pan for banana bread, but I think this would work. The lower oven would likely not be high enough for a loaf pan of yeast bread unless a much smaller amount of dough was put into the pan, so I think I might still need my regular size oven for that. But I certainly could use this Ninja double oven for a lot of my cooking!
Thanks! One thing I would want to make is bread, and I was trying to figure out if it would work in this oven. You answered my question. I guess if you really want to make bread, and do not want to use the big oven, an investment in a bread maker would be a better idea. I know that you can find them a lot in second hand places. Although, it is not the same as homemade bread in the oven.
Got this oven for mother's day. Had no idea how to use it. Needed this tutorial. Thank you so much. I have subscribed and look forward to more tutorials, and I know I'll be using it a lot now. I really don't like to cook, so I think this is a great product to save time. You are so sweet and I love listening to you.
I'm thinking about getting this during the "Prime" days. I saw that if you push the start button, it will pause the cooking time. Thank you for these excellent videos...
I think you can open the top door separately if you press the large button on the left side of the oven handle. but you can’t open the bottom compartment without opening the top as well.
Thank you. I just got one and after reading the instructions... I am just happy to watch your video. The recipe for the chicken wings is the bonus😊. Thank you very much!
I had an air fryer years ago it was a very small one and I absolutely loved it and I know that I'm going to absolutely love the one that I bought today and it is exactly like the one you have and you were like an angel coming to me and helping me to figure it out because now I understand how to use it and I just think it's absolutely wonderful. Before I purchase this ninja I did my homework and I looked for the best prices but the best quality and the ninja is right up there at the top. There was a comment before did Point Blank said she did not like it because you couldn't open each oven separately. Nothing's going to fall if you open it and remove the cooked food to turn it if it's necessary. I think this was a good buy for me today because I bought mine at Kohl's and I got a huge good deal on it. I absolutely am going to enjoy this so much it's going to save me so much time. And thank you for your tutorial, because you are an excellent teacher
I watched a review of this the other day and it was a disaster. It couldn't even brown toast correctly. Everything they cooked was not cook fully. They did say they had not read the manual throughly so I suspect that was the reason for the poor results of the food. Your review was completely different and shed a positive review as you used this oven as designed. I know that Ninja makes good products and you proved it once again. It just goes to show if you don't follow the instructions you may not get the correct results. Thanks so much for this review. 👍
Great video! My mom and I bought the last two of these at our Target for 50% off. It’s absolutely beautiful, but I have no idea how to use it! Also, the box says it can make 6 lbs of wings. So, unless there’s a newer version with a larger capacity, Ninja definitely overestimated.
I totally agree about the 6 pounds of wings! That's sounds like a bit much! Please let me know how you and your Mom like the appliances. I'd love to hear what you make
I’m hungry now. Thanks for the wing recipe. I’m going to try it. Great review. I bought this machine a couple of weeks ago. I discovered you can pause the cooking by pushing in on the round silver knob. To restart push in on the knob again. It’s not automatic but it’s there as an option. Thanks again.
Hi there, this was the first video of yours I watched and it’s fantastic. I have a ninja foodi grill and griddle combo and was thinking of getting this oven. Thanks for showing the pros and cons. I’m off to watch some more of your videos.
I'll be trying the chicken wings in my Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill. The oven is nice, but I just moved into a new home and brought most of my Ninja products with me. Great demonstration 💕
So, I just bought this oven. My experience so far. 1) i made sure to do the 25 minute "new oven set up" as instructed. I then immediately used the oven. No problems. 2) First use: reheat Christmas dinner day after Christmas. I put slices of Prime Rib in the top and casserole dishes (one for mashed potatoes and one for vegetables) in the bottom. The unit easily fit enough for 4 people to have dinner. The Smart Timer worked so-so.....i'm sure I need more practice. The result was delicious. Also, as soon as I took the Prime Rib out of the top I popped rolls in to toast them. If I was doing this without the Ninja, I would do the whole thing in the regular oven with about the same result. However, if I was fixing a plate for one or two persons, and using the microwave, the Ninja would win by far for the taste scale. Nuking meat, even as a reheat, is never a win. Well, maybe bacon. Also, if I was reheaating for more than 1 person using the microwave, there woyld be a lot of juggling which plate goes in to get tgem both done about the same time. 2) Grilled cheese in the air fryer. I mean, it worked. Took just as long as pan frying. More clean up. Tomorrow we are going to do a side by side comparison. I am going to make the exact same sandwiches in the pan, the air fryer, and a 3rd one as a toasti in the top at the same time and do a taste test. Will let you know. 3) Baked a blueberry loaf. It did fine. I was going to make muffins, but lo!....the 12 muffin tin doesn't fit. Is it worth it to buy two 6-muffin tins and bake two sets? Or just stick to the regular oven or loaves, or buy a mini loaf pan that fits? All good questions! 4) Bacon. I attempted 24oz of bacon. Messy because I had to keep flipping and rotating the layers. In the end the bacon did NOT taste quite as good as how we normally cook it. Perhaps if you're just doing 8 or 9 slices it's worth it to use the air fryer, but we all agree bacon in the air fryer was not a win. 5) Toast. In the top. As a toaster, it works just fine. 6) frozen tator tots. These tasted way better than preparing them in the oven. This was a win.
Not so fast! Ninja just released some new models including another dual door oven! I haven't had a chance to try it yet but hopefully soon I can get my hands on it
I liked the way you cook. 😋 Mmmm. I don't know I saw a couple of guys using this and following the instructions and the food was way under cooked or burnt.
I wanted the smart model but ordered too fast and I am very happy with the non-smart model. I get most of my food from QVC and the first night I baked frozen blueberry scones that looked like they were breathing and last night I did a piece of pub style air fried haddock it reminded me of when my family would go to Howard Johnson's Fish fry for all you could eat flounder, fries and cole slaw - the next time I use mine I am going to push stop and see if it pauses and restarts
I have the SmartXL Pro Oven. I have had it two years. Love it. I am very interested in this NEW Double oven. I am curious to see how clean up will be in this one as the other one leaves a lot to be desired in regards to clean up.
Great review and demo! As I was thinking of questions, you were answering them during your demo. Actually, I was interested in this Ninja Foodi until your demo. Thank you for stopping me from making a purchase I would soon regret due to the design flaws. The main door dropping down at an awkward angle was the first disappointment. This means that the hot oven would need to be pulled toward the edge of the counter for the door to lie down flat, enabling extracting the rack from the main oven. Unsafe! Then, access to the main oven must be accessed at the compromise of the smaller oven if it is being utilized. Any baker knows that the oven door is never opened during the baking process, as this compromises the integrity of the item being baked! The timers not pausing while the doors are opened is an inconvenience and potentially could negate the entire syncing of the two ovens to finish simultaneously if the door(s) is opened long enough to necessitate the addition of time in one of the ovens. Sorry, Ninja, my money is going elsewhere.
Can you do a video for chicken legs or pork chops with potatoes my wall oven don’t work so I’m having to use my ninja until I can afford a new wall oven
HI! Unfortunately, I do not have this particular oven anymore so I can't show you how to make it in the double oven. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Thanks for watching
Been looking at this one. Do you know if it can hold a 9x13 pan without handles in it? I know it comes with some pans, but I have a lot of my own already that I use in my current countertop oven and I would hate to get this if I can't fit them in too because I have a deep 9x13 glass baking dish that I use all the time. Thank you for the demo and everything came out looking great 🙂
There should be a handle for each door, bcuz having to open both doors to get to the bottom oven is a design flaw and deal breaker. And the bottom handle should be on the side so that the door opens sideways. Having to slide oven to the edge to get the door opened all the way is not good. I’ll wait for future improved revisions before getting this oven. But I would like to see how it bakes cakes, pies, quick breads, and pizza, etc. Bcuz I have other ninja air fryers.
Hello I no longer have this Oven, I donated it a few months ago. It works well if you need a double oven. My family and I prefer the Ninja FT 301 extended height for daily use. It makes great toast, reheat food well. It bakes cookies well but the bottom of the cookies can get dark if you use the sear plate so consider using the rack. It's not tall enough to cook a whole chicken so I spatchcock it or cook chicken parts more frequently.

My oven broke down and I was looking into other options till I can get it fixed. This was on sale at the time and I almost bought it but decided not to in the end, and now I regret not buying it. How much heat does it give off, and from where? I got a foodi, but it blows out a bit of heat from the back so I have to have it sitting sideways, and for some reason it makes my fire alarm go off almost every time I use it (from the first time I used my Foodi I could be just preheating it a few minutes and my alarm goes off).
lol now thats an oven if i got that id have to move out of my apt its bad enough i have twelve small appliances lol in a one bedroom with a kitchenette dont ask lol ty for all you do your videos are always fun
We own several Ninja products and would like to give our honest review about the new Ninja Double Oven. We feel the same about this product. Many negatives. 1. Too overpriced! This is unaffordable!!!! ☹️☹️☹️☹️ 2. Bottom door should have independent handle for opening. 3. Slanted door because the handle is too thick! 4. Only one crumb tray is dumb, Should come with 2 crumb trays. If Ninja comes up with a Ninja Smart Double Oven v2.0 and fix all these issues (especially lowering the price point), we might reconsider it. As of now, this product is NOT recommended.
I do not like it! When checking your pastry the time does not pause. When you want to check or turn over wings in the bottom you have to open entire door and it lets heat out of the top oven and time still keeps ticking away. I will not be buying this product but appreciate you reviewing it. They need a way for time to pause like in their other ninja products and they need a way to open both ovens separately. Maybe when they do a new version of it they will make some changes. Your wings looked delish and your pastry. Just not a product for me until they do some revisions.
I agree. Not sure how Ninja can call this a double oven without two separate doors. Also, all functions are not available in both ovens. I hope there will be another version soon as I was initially excited by the concept.
I would imagine they may get reviews and some will dislike it not having two separate doors plus the other negatives. I would think in 2 years time they will come out with a true double oven with two doors open separately, plus a pause on the timer and other things. I will wait for a big revision before considering it. It is a nice concept, but needs some tweaking.
Both Top and Bottom oven areas can be paused independently by pressing respective buttons and the the Start/ Stop button. I do see how opening the whole door lets out heat from Top oven. Had Ninja put two independent Open door buttons on this device, this would have made more sense.
Another thought is: For example, when checking something in Bottom, pausing just the Bottom while checking and allowing heating/cooking to continue on Top would lesson heat loss on Top. 🤔👀
I just got mine today and I'm going to make salmon and fresh green beans in them. It's a bit intimidating as I've been using a very easy Dash Everyday Oven for years. (which I love btw) but I was seduced by the brilliance of this oven on QVC (I'm staying off there now!!). I was looking for recipes for this oven since I am cooking for just me, but I use it for ALL my baking and cooking as my regular oven doesn't work anymore. It's a pot and pan holder now. Do you have a website with these wonderful recipes to print? I am in Love!!

I love watching you. I just got this oven for Christmas and I have no idea how to use it thank you!
Your kind words really made my day! I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Have a DELICIOUS DAY
Great job. Agree with the opening. Door should have TWO handle or release button 🤔
Thank you for the detailed video! Are you going to keep using this double oven and could you do a six-month update if so? Thank you 😊

Awesome not only for the review but also recipe! thanks 🎉
Hi Leah,
I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Thanks so much for watching!
If you push the start/stop knob while it's still cooking it will pause it. Push again to continue. 😊
Hi there, this was the first video of yours I watched and it’s fantastic. I have a ninja foodi grill and griddle combo and was thinking of getting this oven. Thanks for showing the pros and cons. I’m off to watch some more of your videos.
Very nice oven. Chicken came out great.
Hi Craig! I was very happy with the way the chicken wings came out. Really crunchy and delicious! Thanks for watching
I'll be trying the chicken wings in my Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill. The oven is nice, but I just moved into a new home and brought most of my Ninja products with me. Great demonstration 💕
Nice vid. I like all your houseplants!👍👍
THANK YOU! I'll do a houseplant tour video soon. Thanks for watching

you press the big button and that pauses it then press it again when you wish to resume
Thanks for the tip and thank you for watching!
I just purchased air fryer parchment paper. I’m hoping that it cooks the wings just as crispy with less mess. I got 100 12x12 sheets from Amazon.
I had the single oven and got rid of it because it was such a pain to clean! Is the double better to clean? They should make it self cleaning!
Mines came yesterday! I can’t wait to unbox it and naturally I’m doing wings first 🥰
Wings first! I agree with that 100%. Thanks so much for watching!
How's it going? Do you like it?
Really great tutorial. Thank you!
I'm trying to decide whether or not to replace my Ninja 10-in-1 foodi with this dual door model. I think you've sold me!
Not so fast! Ninja just released some new models including another dual door oven! I haven't had a chance to try it yet but hopefully soon I can get my hands on it
Thanks for the heads up!
Nice job! Well done video 👍
I liked the way you cook. 😋 Mmmm. I don't know I saw a couple of guys using this and following the instructions and the food was way under cooked or burnt.
You are so helpful and you are so knowledgeable the wings were great, thanks so much for sharing your talent.
I was very interested in purchasing the smart oven until I watched your demo. Like the other comment from Annie Mae, to many flaws. TY!
Wow I was thinking about definitely getting this one or the emerald oven definitely ninja 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 great channel

Just bought ours today! A great video thank you ❤
Thanks for the wonderful demo! I will be trying that chicken wing recipe 😋
I have the SmartXL Pro Oven. I have had it two years. Love it. I am very interested in this NEW Double oven. I am curious to see how clean up will be in this one as the other one leaves a lot to be desired in regards to clean up.

Just came across your video as considering purchasing this product. Do you still love it?
Our cuisinart fryer, oven , toaster died
Hello I no longer have this Oven, I donated it a few months ago. It works well if you need a double oven.
My family and I prefer the Ninja FT 301 extended height for daily use. It makes great toast, reheat food well. It bakes cookies well but the bottom of the cookies can get dark if you use the sear plate so consider using the rack.
It's not tall enough to cook a whole chicken so I spatchcock it or cook chicken parts more frequently.
The chicken wings were amazing 😍 what's the recipe for them? I know you mentioned it in the video but I would like to have it written down.
Thanks 😊
Wauw, Fantastic..hope this comming to the Netherlands..we have now the NINJA FOODI OL750eu , NINJA foodi af400eu and the NINJA FOODI DT200EU at home..greate stuff, super quality, perfect stuff...Thanks. Greetings from the Netherlands Netherlands 😊
Where did you find such big wings?
LOL! Sorry, I don't even remember!
Thanks for watching
Pushing the start stop dial is the pause button. It’s not a bad product…for the price a second catch try needs to be included . And why no clock?
Oh! Yes, I'm ready to purchase this beauty! Is this the DCT451 Model? By the way, I use your seasoning on everything ... It's great!
Would you suggest this over the combi? I'm in the market(gift for the Mrs) and looking to replace our smaller 4qt air fryer.
I'm interested in getting one, but will the oven fit a 13"x9" oblong cake pan?
Those wings look awesome. Did you turn them? The oven seemed to handle the 4lbs pretty well. 👍🏻
Oh yes! I need this in my life
Wow nice review food looks great
Can you use it to just toast bread slices?
I saw your other video on this product and the answer is yes!
Can you cook a turkey in there if so what size
Hi! This can not fit a whole turkey. You can fit turkey parts like thighs or legs. Possibly half a turkey breast
Great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words, and thank you for watching!

Wow I've never heard of that issue. Please contact customer service for assistance. Thank you for watching!
Can I cook hamburgers in this oven? Just wondering thank you.🤔
Hello, I have not tried it myself, but I don't see why not. Thanks for watching!
You can do the same thing that you can do in an oven
Between the two ovens, this one and the SmartXL Pro oven, which is your preference? Why?
lol now thats an oven if i got that id have to move out of my apt its bad enough i have twelve small appliances lol in a one bedroom with a kitchenette dont ask lol ty for all you do your videos are always fun
How is it to clean? Is it tedious or about the same as the Ninja Foodi?
Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching, Jacqueline!
Hi Sweetsavant🙋🏽♀️🥰 I enjoy your presentation of this fantastic oven! God's Blessings to You and Your Family Always. In Christ Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🏽❤️🥰
Can I make these puff pastries and chicken wings in a regular oven?
Of course 😊
Is this easier to clean than the ninja XL oven ?
It’s huge !
is this item loud when in use it sounds like it is
Hi Wanda, I didn't find this oven to be very loud when in use. Thanks for watching
I think it’s pretty quiet.
i dont see this available on thier site yet
Can you make homemade bread in it
Hello. You can bake a loaf of homemade bread in this but it couldn't be very tall. Thanks for watching
هل استطيع ان اضع دجاجه كامله من دون تقطيع
Oh no you didn't just show me something else I need! I want it but OMG is it not in my budget... Still want it LOL
How much is it
New subscriber to your beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 channel ♥️
Welcome Ivan! Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching!
I really want one
I seen another video where they push that big round button at the bottom and it paused the oven
My wife is gonna kill me if I say we need another air fryer lol.
You can pause by pressing the start stop button
I like your video
It look great but i just have two ppl to cook for
😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Did you use Daft Punk in your video or something close to my boys? Votes for the tones 😁
you are going too fast with the chicken wing ingredients
I don’t know of any oven or cooking device where the timer stops when you open the door you guys must be using different stuff than me
I just got mine today and I'm going to make salmon and fresh green beans in them.
How's it going? Do you like it?
