For honorable mentions, I would also add exchange and double spell. I know why people don't play them, they are -1(or -2 depending on the situation), but in some decks they can be very useful. For example: exchange in the horus deck, If you have Horus face up you can use exchange to see if there is a tribe in the opponent's hand and give him a spell that they can't use or turn 1 play stain use his effect on last warrior and see the opponent hand for an out, or maybe he drew pot or charity. Also maybe In some resoning/gate decks can be used to get a monster to gate it, mirror chaos you can get his BLS or sorcerer. Double spell it's great in a lot of situations, You have full access to your opponent GY, yeah it's a -1 but if you need heavy to win the duel that doesn't matter, all deck have pot and charity that could be key in some situations. I wouldn't run at 3 neither of these cards but i think they are worth mentioning.
Pretty good video from you again, My body as a shield is a must if you want to play your favorite boss monster. Funny for me see vortex in a "underplayed" list i remember at the time every casual players using it because it was described as the best magic card in one of the most recent pack by a magazine if i remember right, having 2 rarities that made it fairly easy to get yuor hands on and they even added it in a bunch of structure deck like the warrior and magician ones a bit later. I have been using last will in my lvl3 beast aggro deck, it's funny to crash a hyena with gaia up and then getting a bonus milus so they end up at 2000, cat work really well in that obviously.
Spell Absorption: spell-based deck with a high lifepoint survival strategy Final Countdown: makes non-burn non-mill stall viable The Dark Door: another good stun card Stumbling (better than The Vengeful Bog Spirit): same as above Spell Reduplication: spell-based decks can get back their draw cards without Magician Of Faith Timidity Array Of Light: side deck card that can shut down type-based decks Chain Energy: super strong burn card Kaiser Colosseum: another card that's banned after yet nobody plays Swords Of Revealing: completely free floodgate Prohibition: potential side deck card to shut down the biggest threat
I think machines as a whole are very undervalued, because of having limiter (or 2 or 3) with solemn or trunade backup. Absolutely insane, and the fact that Blowback, Jinzo, Mechanicalchaser, and X-Head have high attack can help stall out in lots of matchups. Synergizes well with brain control, big bang shot, and even cannon soldier/last will package too
I love using my body as a shield when playing grave keepers due to the prevalence of noc and to protect necrovalley. Enemy controller is also good in reasoning gate and relinquished control
I'm loving the flood of Goat content hahaha, buuuut, especially with monsters and now spells, I think most of those are actually played not so infrequently. I also am quite curious to see the Trap list cuz most people use the same ones EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Some of these definitely see some play, but i think they could be played even more in the actual competitive scene. Here's the full trap list. These definitely don't see any play at all: 1. Ring of Destruction 2. Mirror Force 3. Torrential Tribute 4. Sakuretsu Armor 5. Raigeki Break 6. Trap Dustshoot 7. Solemn Judgment 8. Royal Decree 9. Call of the Haunted 10. Jar of Greed
@KuhbGames Hahaha, deeeeeeefinitely not x) My most underplayed spell in Goat format would be Swords lf Revealing Light. That card can save your ass a lot of times without an answer from the opponent, not by coincidence Yugi always used as an out when things were dire.
In regards to Cold Wave, Limiter Removal, Wave-Motion Cannon and Last Will I feel like they are played the appropriate amount in the decks they thrive in. Listing those is more like saying those decks are underplayed. Enemy Controller, My Body as a Shield and Brain Control I definitely agree with. United We Stand is one that I often see omitted from decks where it's so obviously strong.
In my Monarch deck I run Cold Wave in my side deck. I been thinking about running it in the main deck but Unless I know that I can get some type of value with it then I won't use it. A fun way how I managed to use it properly was to completely shutdown a PACMAN deck I was facing. Lost the 1st round but won both because of Cold Wave!
thats not even true. last will was broken at the very start because they mistranslated it in the tcg but after its change it saw almost no play simply because you couldnt reliably proc it .. which is also the problem with it in goat format. lets be real for a second: last will isnt underexplored, many ppl who play goat format were around during that time irl / have been with ygo long enough to know last wills power .. but theres these issues. also the cards you proc it with / you get are good but have their issues aswell. with cat you must play pretty much six beasts and the beasts themselves are not that good and die eot. makes your draws meh. stein can be a game ending card but also dead / risky pretty quickly. sure sometimes things can work but most ppl like consistency and well consistency is just needed to do well. last will only started seeing more play again after ppl noticed hey we can just use it in our goodstuff decks with monarchs to tutor for stuff and potentially just straight up win the game if we throw cyber stein in there ( something quite some ppl actually dont know: the ocg had stein way earlier then us, for us it was a price card of SJC at first and only became affordable once dark beginning 2 got released ). stein got emergency banned, last will stayed and this incident thaught the community how good it still was .. so later it got banned too.
@michaelfellner9822 i think it's underexplored in the fact that more decks could utilize it effectively, but it hasn't been tested out enough in them. I also think the decks that use last will for combo aspects, like cat decks, are a lot more consistent than people think. Either way, i think the card is way too powerful in current goat format to see almost no competitive play.
Someone asked me for one overrated card and I'm having a hard time thinking on that, but it's definitely a possibility in the future. Gotta do the traps one next and see where we go from there.

@@eduardopena5703 I was also expecting exchange on the list but the spell card pool in this format is crazy.
i will definetily try out exchange in my horus stein deck. totaly forgot about this card. thank you!
Also on my body as a shield, it’s amazing in decree decks. And in reasoning, with Spell Economics you pay nothing to save your monster!
Pretty good video from you again, My body as a shield is a must if you want to play your favorite boss monster.

Spell Absorption: spell-based deck with a high lifepoint survival strategy
Final Countdown: makes non-burn non-mill stall viable
The Dark Door: another good stun card
Stumbling (better than The Vengeful Bog Spirit): same as above
Spell Reduplication: spell-based decks can get back their draw cards without Magician Of Faith
Timidity
Array Of Light: side deck card that can shut down type-based decks
Chain Energy: super strong burn card
Kaiser Colosseum: another card that's banned after yet nobody plays
Swords Of Revealing: completely free floodgate
Prohibition: potential side deck card to shut down the biggest threat
Had considered a few of these. Swords of revealing light is definitely seeing some competitive play, though.
I think machines as a whole are very undervalued, because of having limiter (or 2 or 3) with solemn or trunade backup. Very much agreed
Love the list. Big Bang Shot, Cold Wave, and Last Will are my personal favorites off this list
Cold Wave can definitely feel broken as hell.
Big bang shot is great as removal also when you play giant trunade, noticed this when i tried to play different dimension gate
I think AJTBLS ran Different Dimension Capsules in warriors years back
I didn't know this. Need to check out some of these lists.
10/10 video
Totally agree last will is the most overlooked card in goat
Surprised more people don't play Soul Release which is such an anti-Chaos card.
its a -1, only playable on your turn and only helpful if they actually play chaos / have chaos in hand at that point.
It's arguably better to just run Necrovalley if you can afford it.
Great picks my man! Last will is insane - I put together a cat control deck, inspired by your list. The options you get from it are so good.
I love using my body as a shield when playing grave keepers due to the prevalence of noc and to protect necrovalley. Enemy controller is also good in reasoning gate and relinquished control
How does My Body as a Shield protect Necrovalley? It only prevents monster destruction, not backrow destruction.
Sure would protect it if your opponent used Final Destiny to destroy it while you had a monster on the field. lol

5. Raigeki Break

8. Royal Decree

10. Jar of Greed
@KuhbGames Hahaha, deeeeeeefinitely not x)

That card is played more than any card i put on the list. lol
@KuhbGames really? Wow, didnt expect that
Reupload! Time to watch again!
I remember getting smoked by wave motion when I was a kid. Had no idea what even happened, I was 10 lol.
Yeah body as a shield is an amazing card. At its best, It's basically a quickplay mirror force negate, at it's worst , it's still good!
Matazza plus goats and united we stand is the safest way to attempt a OTK when you think about it
In my Monarch deck I run Cold Wave in my side deck. I been thinking about running it in the main deck but Unless I know that I can get some type of value with it then I won't use it.
A fun way how I managed to use it properly was to completely shutdown a PACMAN deck I was facing. Lost the 1st round but won both because of Cold Wave!
Yeah, cold wave is pretty brutal against pacman. Can confirm.
Last Will is the most under played card in my opinion. Everyone ran it back in the day
I really hope you're commenting this before watching the full video. lol

Dude my first deck ran 2 solemns and 2 My body. Amazing combo
Edit: I have a playset of Wave motion cannon Super rare TP :D
love me some cold wave and last will spicest of the spice!
I actually used all of these cards in different decks I made in old YuGiOh games. Have I played too much MR1 YuGiOh? >.>
Would you do an overrated cards list?
Someone asked me for one overrated card and I'm having a hard time thinking on that, but it's definitely a possibility in the future. Gotta do the traps one next and see where we go from there.
Would love to duel you one day
Also cold wave is at 2 in goat
It is not.
yeah, it's at 3 in goat.
First! ... or was I?
