Back when Adam Ant was at his height, some time around the mid 80's a family friend was delivering records to a recording studio. On arrival the place was mobbed, screaming fans everywhere. As he sat waiting to get in, Adam appeared, one of his entourage tried to usher him to a waiting car. Adam told him in no uncertain terms (in language you don't use in polite company), that the fans came first and because of them the entourage where being well paid and stood signing autographs, laughing and joking with the fans for over thirty minutes. The family friend was not easily impressed, but Adam went up in his estimation greatly that day!
It would be such an honor to meet this generous man. Taking time to sign autographs for his fans. I like Johnny Depp, but he’s no Adam the true pirate. Love you Adam. Always stay true to yourself. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Lots of love.❤️

Nowdays i see his first intrvieuw that Adam is very polite person and im surprise he has demons hunting him. I didnt know this back then.. God bless him..

Imso disappointed! His early costumes were obviously native American makeup with British and and early American colonial clothing. Im American, I've been in Texas for most of my life. I didn't want to slam him on it, but ask him about it. I lived that a British man would pick Apache and other indigigienous American makeup for back then. Johhny Depp has nothing on Adam Ant. I always wanted to ask him about that. I always wanted to ask him about why he chose that make up back then. ( Personally, I loved it, as much as I still love that music. Ina bad day, I will still sing dog eat dog to myself)
