I'm surprised he didn't talk more about whales. Many whales are super protective even giving up their own life. One of the saddest facts is the most effective way to whale hunt is attacking a calf. The mother whale will stay by it's side to protect the calf even if means their death.
why did you have to remind me 😭, when I learned this I remember I had a nightmare about that happening and I was the mother whale, woke up depressed and mourning
@@ChronicaErys I'm pretty depressed and mourning myself actually, but it's for a completely different reason... Just watched 4x8 of *Fear TWD* for the first time. _"No One's Gone."_ _.....Madison._ I'm just upset rn. Don't wanna talk about it. I need ice cream and something f*cking *happy,* like cartoons.
I hope there is some sort of re-incarnation and please, if there is such a thing...PLEASE please please..let me be an elephant.... I don't even need to be one of the 'cool' elephant of the herd.... I'd be fine with being the clumsy nerd of the herd...just let me be part of that existence,... 😌
I'd prefer to be reincarnated into an African elephant. You might face the threat of poachers but at least you won't face the risk of humans making you work as a truck and mistreat you.
It’s not just rabbits that do that. Many different species of rodents do that, too. (And before you say what I know you’re thinking, YES, I DO KNOW that rabbits ARE NOT rodents.)
@@brigidtheirish Yep, another disturbing addition to a rabbit’s eating habits is that, if the mother is too stressed after giving birth, she’ll eat her newborn kits.
6:11 Yeah, I don't blame them, seeing as it takes basically 2 fckn years just to have 1 child! 22 months?! I can't even wrap my brain around that sh*t! Wtf! 😭😭
I love the relationships different species have to survive together. My favorite is definitely the Drongo (bird) and Meerkats. The Drongo keeps an eye out for predators while the Meerkats burrow and find insects which they both eat for food and makes a warning call if any predators are sighted. I just love it because sometimes when the Drongos are really hungry, they’ll make a false warning call and steal the food the Meerkats just got. It’s more of a love hate relationship. 😄
Tarantulas are also pretty underrated as moms. Some species like the Socotra Island blue baboon and semi-social pygmy tarantula will share food with their babies until they're big enough to fend for themselves.
I seen a video recently were two baby orca's very 'softly' so to speak, stopped a fishing boat and guided the boat miles in order to rescue their mother who was caught in a fishing line. They then happily played around the boat just after the fishers managed to free the mother as a thank you. I think in todays age some animals understand that we have the means and the understanding that we can help them, which i think is a massive evolutionary step in the animal kingdom.
This is wonderful and beautiful in every way, but did he not make one for Father's day? Lol *Edit:* I think I see why now. Most of the father animals in this video are deadbeats. Well, that sucks, but I'm sure there are great W animal Dads out there too, just like for humans. 😊❤👨👧👦
Jesus, that fact about the orca Mom was insane. Helping your son to off a kid(while you're holding down it's mom) so your son can mate with her..no wonder they are related to Dolphins..

Yeah and Orcas are even worse cause they play around with that maternal instinct and target the calf!

Hopefully re-incarnation isn't a thing
If it did happen and was real I would want to be a king cobra. Or gaboon viper.
I'd wanna be a capybara and just vibe all day
@@shlogo1119 nah bruh. Capybara get bodied by everything. Caimans, jaguars, anacondas, humans, etc.
Don’t worry Nikki I’m tearing up too 😢
Copraphagia is pretty common among herbivores. Rabbits eat their own poop so they can get all the nutrients out of their food, for instance.
It’s not just rabbits that do that. Many different species of rodents do that, too.

Just had to throw Steve in there at the end to make us cry

*Edit:* Wait, does it involve poops? Yeah, nvm. I don't wanna know.
