I just had this experience on a personal level with people yesterday. It was the first time I’ve been in a work environment with the new people and remained calm.

Well done, Brodie and human companion! And now your bond is so strong, which is a beautiful gift to the both of you. I am learning the Trust Technique (thank you James and Shelley for creating the program to share with others), and helped our family bunny (a prey animal, so naturally very timid) into an incredibly trusting and loving companion for each member of our family. I am very grateful.

Oh Bodie, beautiful boy, you made me cry! You made it😊!
Thank you James, for being you, for helping desperate animal „owners“ ( friends sounds better to me than owners...)! I love your technique! I keep trying it in a very basic way with dogs, cats and two bears and it works so amazingly well❤️!! I could hug you all day long for what you are doing and teaching!

Bodie, you are such a precious dog ♥️ After awhile watching the techniques you used, he made the big step 💖l bet he felt so proud. People have to understand it takes time and patience and this man is super💕 Thank You, l will be watching all of your videos. Our large Boston Terrier is good at catching what we say. But our Frenchie is stubborn, and doesn’t cooperate. Hoping to find some tips in your videos ♥️💕☘️☘️ Thanks

Good on YOU Joyce! I have a cat but before I get a dog I want to LEARN more about 'raising them properly! On this TT subject, I noticed that when I went to another room to do my yoga (5 Tibetan Rites), my cat Floyd would always come in and do them with me! L0L My theory is when I do them my energy becomes more positive and Floyd could feel that too! The TT reminds me to BE more mindful of Floyd at all times! He's laying on his earthing pad sleeping right now next to me! I let him know he's loved all the time! It's a BLESSING for me as well!

You can't know that from a video though. Maybe it worked mayb it didn't. Mayb it was cut and edited to look great. Mayb it really.
All we know for certain is the camera only shows you what it wants to show you.
Ceaser Milan is my favourite dog trainer because I grew up watching his TV show. I loved watching his yard FULL of dogs most people would avoid Inc many many trainers.
Ceasar Milan had then all crammed together and sure fights broke out but look how fast they stopped when ceasar barked back.
That's respect. Fear based or love it doesn't matter. Respect is the foundation of everything and some dogs just do not want to be under dog they will not respond to only love especially when their dna and hormones tell them different.
Watch stray dog packs the leader has the others respect and when they step out of line the leader dog is the first to pounce on them.
If your dog thinks you are weak then your dog knows you can't protect them. Knows you can't lead. So the dog feels the weight of the world on its back.
Show your dog you are a strong leader and it will follow you with confidence you can deal with whatever comes up.
Love based only might work great on pamper dogs.
🐶 I'm so dopey and docile nothing worry me.
🐺 It's a scary world so I'll be the biggest baddest member of it.
🐩 I just want to look pretty.
🐺 I'll fight you for her...
🐶 It's OK you have her.

@@TrollingHistory , Caesar Milan is FEAR-based and the OPPOSITE of what TT is about! I watched him years ago, but I was NOT impressed. TT is the FUTURE of animal 'training', for lack of a better term! It ELEVATES everyone concerned! BE the change YOU want to see in the world! It won't happen overnight but I can say I have become that most of the time! It's a PROCESS...but I'm learning to be in the NOW. Has anyone seen that video where bears are socializing with humans at a rural residence? I saw it years ago, but I want to watch it again! It's also AMAZING!

Hi Lyndsey, we have lots of consultation examples with dogs in our video course, we have just uploaded the Pascha videos yesterday which covers the journey of a wonderful dog we had the opportunity to work with in Austria at TierQuarTier. We will look to add some videos, of some of the amazing dogs we have had the opportunity to work with, to our channel. Best Regards, The Trust Technique Team

@@TrustTechniqueJamesFrench i bought the £6.50 course but didnt realise there wouldnt be any videos there. I cant afford the video course right now but i do have a session booked with a practitioner tomorrow so hopefully i will learn something. My dog ended up in a scrap today so i feel worried and fearful about the future after i thought we were making progress. It looks easy to do on a solo horse but in one of those fight situations i cant see the time to get calm and centred. It happens so fast and then the fear goes on to the next encounter. Please could you do some courses on socialising dogs because it seems impossible but important to do. They move so much quicker.

I would have liked to see him in the car while it's running. Mine has no issue going in the car, she's quite happy to hop in as it means a visit to someone she loves in a place she loves or a walk in a forrest for example. But in the car she cries, tries to get on the passengers seats, etc. I understand she's impatient to arrive but her cries break my heart and make me still wonder if there isn't something I'm missing about it.

    • @TrustTechniqueJamesFrench
      @TrustTechniqueJamesFrench  2 роки тому +3

Hi Julie… that can be the next step in the process: teaching the dog to find peace with the sound of the motor, with the car moving, with the car going around corners etc… whatever brings their mind up, reduce it. The tasks change, the process remains the same. Warm Regards, The Trust Technique Team

@@TrustTechniqueJamesFrench Thank you James 🙂 My pup was born deaf, I should have mentioned it. When I drive at night, she seems to become quiet (way less distractions?), whereas the usual trips during the day she moves a lot, stands with her front paws/puts her chin on the passengers seats backs, pants a lot, cries or barks, and goes somewhat quieter on the motorways when my speed is higher and constant.
Or now that I'm writing this, could it be that she's anxious of all the people and cars around, in places unknown to her while I'm driving? (But I know there is also a lot of impatience too, like a kid saying are we there yet?)
I really don't know how to solve it. She's been in cars since she was a puppy, but the rides were way shorter, as I was living in a very small place, now I'm near Paris, France.
      Thank you so much!

The same thing happens with my dog. He loves to go for a ride .. jumps right in. But as soon as I start driving he starts whining, he jumps from the front seat to the back seat many times and sometimes barking. It doesn't make for an enjoyable ride. He knows the way to the dog park and when I start driving in that direction every thing is 10 time worse. When we are heading on a road trip and he sees me packing the truck .. he knows we are going for a long ride and settles much quicker though

The trust technique seems to be totally awesome, it really does a lot. It seems to help the animal deal with the stressful situation. But it seems that all it is is being present, avoiding asking the animal to do anything that’s hard for it. And the dog reacts nicely.

For the last five months I have been studying Trust Technique Foundations course and another course they have called Animal Communication. I was formerly a professional musician & I have finicky tastes in music. Believe me, i do understand your complaint here. I really do get it!! HOWEVER -- I now find it tremendously endearing that the music for pretty much all their videos is so DIY or a bit "out of place". Thank goodness for the authentically life-changing work these people do. I feel so very comforted and reassured that they *DONT* have perfectly put together music, nor a PR Team coaching James' clothes/speech/photography. I just love that they *DONT* have a copywriter formulating snazzier soundbites to describe awkward word formulations like 'Creative Reaction' 'Mindful Regard' 'Present Moment' and 'Trusted Cooperation'. And I hope the next time I happen to meet somebody on the same path with Jesus or Bhudda in my own extremely difficult daily life, I won't miss appreciating a great great healer amongst humanity just because my view was blocked by some speck of dust in my eye or some detail about the music which was getting under my skin driving me crazy. I'm not trolling or criticizing, just letting you know that the seeming simplicity of this work will make it very easy to miss out. I hope you dont miss out.
