Saw John for the first time last night and it was one of the best live music experiences I’ve ever had. It went way beyond his extraordinary talent behind those keys, harmonica, and voice. His energy and soul drove the show. He played favorite songs and his unique renditions felt like I was discovering new favorite songs for the first time. I will repeatedly be coming back to this recording to listen to his rendition of Scarlet Begonias.
