Decided to listen a little bit during work. You sounded great!

Saw John for the first time last night and it was one of the best live music experiences I’ve ever had. It went way beyond his extraordinary talent behind those keys, harmonica, and voice. His energy and soul drove the show. He played favorite songs and his unique renditions felt like I was discovering new favorite songs for the first time. I will repeatedly be coming back to this recording to listen to his rendition of Scarlet Begonias. The combination of him and the amazingly talented Claudia on the fiddle was an experience I won’t soon forget. Thank you for sharing your gift my friend! Appreciate you!

I don't agree with Where's The Orchestra?. It's a slightly mirthful, lightly pondering denial, reality refusal. Not wistful or, sorrowful. I realize you've probably played it a few ways, that way here, just the lesser refined form. One of his secondary tier musicality and 1st person narrator, or 3rd person narrator greats. Part of its brilliance, is, the non dejected non weepy voicing.
