🤣Im not surprised because southern afrikans dont seem to mind being under whyte and asian rule....no wonder even you guys are afraid of standing up to boers.....Botswana namibia zambia, south africa are same watsapp group.....Unfortunately....

When the government makes smart and beneficial decisions the public and the economy will thrive 👍🏾 Shoutout to the government of Botswana 🇧🇼and Tayo Aina for taking us to Botswana 🇧🇼 virtually 😊 ,showcasing the beautiful diamond 💎 industry in Botswana 👏🏾 Anticipating more videos from Botswana 😊
Thanks from Botswana
I'm offended by your comment, because what the government is doing is basically the opposite.
@@gamergeek9408 I wanted to say that too but I was too scared that a fight in the comments would erupt
@@ofentseorekeng don't be afraid to say what's on your mind,That's one of our weakness as Batswana we're too cowardly to express our selves, that's why the government will continue treating us like little pieces of s**t.

As someone who stayed and still runs business in Botswana, I love the diamond culture in Botswana. Through Debswana I also managed to attend to Stanford Seed Program back in 2018 which was such an eye opener.
Kudos to the people contributing to keep the diamond industry in Botswana sane and blood free. This is what keeps Botswana as such a peaceful country. It's purely amazing.
Keep it up! 💯💯💯
"Kudos to the people contributing to keep the diamond industry" Which people?

Great job brother

Greeting from 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬Botswana is a great country
God the Accent of this man is something else.... I just notice they all speak clean English
Africa is blessed, leadership is our biggest problem.
I have always wondered why the big UA-camrs seem to skip over Botswana when it seems to be the most stable African country with good governance, good HDI, good GDP per capita, etc. I look forward to learning more about this country, especially as a Sierra Leonean, as we have diamonds as well but were not able to leverage it in the same way as Botswana to develop our country for numerous reasons(our diamonds were easy to find and retrieve so it was a mad rush, Liberian civil war which effected us, corruption, etc)
Am from Botswana living in canada and am with you my brother sister from the motherland ❤
Tayo in your interview in Botswana.. You only interviewed business people who are either naturalized Batswana or outrightly foreigners. Not that there is anything wrong am just wondering if you are interested in hearing a story from a motswana?
It goes to show when it comes to the cutting niche there are few Tswana citizens. There is clearly a skills gap or knowledge gap.
Indigenous Batswana own 3 business sell fat cakes/chips on the street, own cattle or are thieves disguised as tenderpreneurs

This video and the one on Isaac Kasonde were just brilliant, especially the latter - for me -

Nice tour of a Botswana diamond company, I like the jewelry and diamond business. Botswana's founding father was a realist and wise leader.
Thanks for showcasing Africa to the world...God Bless you!!!
What did Nigeria do to deserve our leaders, see how a country's citizen is praying for her .
Start praying for your country, speak good of your country, don't run your country down cos it's not made up of only the leaders.
@@naijagatekeeper101 stop praying and take action, God of Jesus won’t come to help, the same way they didn’t help during slavery or colonisation
Forcefully remove your leaders and start opening factories to industrialise the country
if you vote based on religion caste and tribe the leaders don't give a fck about development they just gaslight you for your sentiments and take advantage. same thing here in south Asia. so many resources but still struggle
Africa is blessed

This is a brilliant video. I absolutely love Botswana.
Wow Tayo is my home country this feels so good, i believe you will be able to visit the Okavango Deltas and Chobe National Park and learn more about African elephants because Botswana has the largest number of elephants in the world and most of them are found here in Kasane Botswana. Can you imagine i am in Botswana born and raised here but i never went to that factory, i am even ashmed of myself but we move
Is there any Black Africans who owned any diamond resources in your country?
I love your vibes because you make life look so simple and fun. Watching your video I actually get motivated and also think big

Great video brother Tayo Aina !!!.Very encouraging for the African entrepreneurs, specifically for the youth.Showing a peaceful, modern industrialized African nation as Bostwana moving forward, this is a positive narrative for us ,children of mother Africa.
All poor countries should follow this example to turn their economies around by taking the profits from it's natural recourses and putting it back into their respective countries. This is absolutely BRILLIANT

Hello Tayo there are no secrete diamond companies in Botswana, these companies are known to the citizens, but the only problem is there are inaccessible to the ordinary man in the streets because they are well protected. Am sure you experienced the security checks yourself. You will never hear there was a robbery or hijacking or heist of diamonds because they are well protected.

Bostonwana is underaded
The Industry is currently being threatened by synthetic diamonds though, all best on the language course😊
You mean synthetic? This is why Botswana needs to diversify the country's income away from diamonds so this isn't a threat. Just look at Russia and Arabia, they're not just diamonds and oil anymore even though we know them for that but they have used their money from these things to become even bigger and better and shining in tne global stage.

Tayo Aina - Good job and thank you for visiting Botswana. The hope is that the rest of Sub Saharan Africa realize they can live in harmony with their mineral wealth and allow those minerals to help their economies. Yes it took Botswana a long time to do this and that, but that also serves as education for the rest of Africa. Yes the man running this factory is of Indian origin, again another lesson, probably the person who saw the skill in him is of Indian origin too. It’s there it happens.
There is No Sub Sahara it's a degrading Colonial term (nobody is sub or less). It's South of the Sahara!!!!!
Foreigners owning your resources serves as an education?
@@TheDebunker2050 : ???
What an unintelligent comment! Even the Middle East oil production is not done 100% by the Arabs.
With time and further education, young Botswanans will no doubt take more charge of the production of their diamond. One thing that can’t be denied is that they are on the right path.
Let me watch.
Now Tayo, you have no excuse,. Buy one of those Diamond 💍 for your Lady and Propose 😅😅 It's about time.

Because i no get data😂😏
Botswana is a cool country
Tayo good work as usual but It would have been nice to see indigenous business people. I am tired of "foreigners" (sixth generation or not ) that have no interest in the indigenous people sharing the wealth of the country with their own people. When these people are in charge rest assured the workers are getting paid PEANUTS and the wealth is for them.
Africans we need to wake up! As a black person, you can be 10th generation in India this will never happen
Sir Serethe Khama set the foundation for how leadership should be in Africa. He set the country in a path to greatness. He does not get allot of mention because of the Size of the Country. We need resources to work for people. If you take a record of how the country started and where it is now it did very well. Shaps👊
Or could it be bc he was married to white woman. He surely deserves Praise s, wonder if they even have a monument of Him in Botswana, even the wife turned her back from Britain moved to Botswana she loved her husband and Botswana people bd country she worked nd stood up for Botswana masses. The Seretsi deserve more recognition.
Excellent series on Southern Africa 🌍
