This series is great. Calling out his moves and what you do for each move helped me so much. I did Hard Mode for the first time this morning as a Paly in a pug group and it was shockingly easy. Took a couple of hrs only. Understanding the normal attack patterns is the key to the fight once the arena has shrunk down all the way. I barely noticed any difference between Normal and Hard.
I play Paladin a lot and what I noticed is that its really easy to play but not easy to play really well. You always need to watch your party members where they might need a godsent law and know the boss mech really well so you know when to use awakening or identity skill
dude i loved the small animations you added they made it look so neat and easy to understand for people that haven't played pld yet LOL, but also one question dude, is there a reason why you put purple galewind instead of legendary even tho you only use one galewind or was that just something you forgot? kinda curious
i dont know if i am saying this wrong but if you have cleanse skill (holy protect) then please maximize the teammate ui so that you can see what debuff( bleed/burn) they got and cleanse it with holy protection shield...
Great series! Suggestion: Do these translations in post so it's a more fluid conversation. You could layer it on top of the audio when your guest is speaking. Who's going to be your Gunslinger interview?
Nice video, but I have one question. I see that you were interrupting your godsent law most of the time. Wouldn't it be better to let it run fully to get a higher chance of judgment proc?

currently 1400 pally with 4x3(awakening, expert, MP effiency and blessed aura), but my main stat is on specialization, is the meter gain, holy aura effiency/ healing effiency not comparable to a swiftness build. Is it better to have constant up time for my debuffs and buffs vs more effective healing for the party? Im usually mvp healer for my argos raid currently so i assumed my build was effective.
May not stack but dmg reduction during dps near the boss is good. Also most of the time you only land god sent once conviction procs. I used both but i noticed a good proc counts for holy area since it has larger aoe and helps my meter gain.
Thanks for the video. Since you say that 3x3 is stretching it for Clown and Brelshaza what would you say is the most important 4th one for those and maybe even 5th. So many of the engravings feel just like "yeah okay to have but not really needed".

I reconsidering using magick stream instead of vital points as 5th engraving for me. It give some MP regen and CD reduction so there will be more of blessed aura and i probably dont have to use conviction/judgement thanks to mp regen and instead use wealth runes for even faster identity skill.
Love it. Paladin is the best class in the game! I like how you don't use charge. You can escape 99% of stuff with your swiftness and space bar. Better to have more uptime on you Blessed Aura by adding a meter building skill.
Well I'm not ATK but I can tell u what hes gonna say. Precise Dagger is a bad engraving (unless u are reflux sorc or something) bc u are giving up on a better engraving like hitmaster/ ambush master, cursed doll etc. Any class can get at least 60% Crit Rate using jewelry stats without Precise Dagger (unless they are not playing a crit build). So it would be better to have Keen Blunt + another dmg engraving with Crit stats + may be Adrenaline if needed. If u are using a swift or spec build, then u probably shouldn't be using Keen Blunt anyways. --- Not a pro/veteran at the game or anything. Just my thoughts.

@@sasuky112 Well I'm going to be contradicting what I said now that I know ur class is a swift build ha. I was assuming u were playing a crit build since that seems like 80% of the dmg classes go crit or spec route (which spec builds usually have some kind of built-in crit buff anyways). Yea soulfist and sorc might be the only classes (that I can think of) that would use Precise Dagger and it not be a bad option. If u had about 450-500 crit from necklace, adrenaline 3 and may be a crit armor set then u would swap Precise Dagger for Raid Captain but if not, then KBW+PD might be fine. I would still prioritize Cursed Doll over either of those. No other Engraving choices I can think of that would benefit u for a dps increase.
@@tatenance8785 thanks for your help mate and i was using cursed doll when i was on legendary gear but it is really brutall engraving to take with grudge + it is addictive so in my opinion it is not worth it and for raid captain my movement speed right now with the swift i have is %125 so i am planning on taking that as a 5th engraving in future and 1 more reason to take PD is iam swaping the argos set so iam gonna lose %15 crit rate soon without the argos set and PD i will have a maximum of %39 crit chance
The dps difference between the various dps engravings is not huge. If you get a decent crit with PD and have bonuses to crit dmg from KB, then its a fine combo. People talk about "optimal" etc, but if there is 2% difference between them and one allows you to stay more on target and less on ground...
If my opinion matters, as someone with 3 paladins and 3 bards, it's just not reliable for most fights since the bosses move too much. His loadout is good, i would just change sword of justice for light shock as it's easier to hit and maintain damage debuff on enemies.
@@bdog2200 Your marking skill is personal preference some use light others godsent I personally use holy explosion for my marking skill. The thing with light is its best for motility and beginners but your gonna want a longer lasting mark in the long-run.

Any skill that applies the 10% damage debuff can be applied with 100% uptime, the point I am making is that light shock is best period because it's near instant cast, it's a short cooldown and decently long duration for the debuff, 6 seconds. All the other abilities have this same "idea". If the mark lasts 12 seconds, the ability cooldown is about 12 seconds with swiftness and gems. I have 1600 hours playing supports and testing different builds. I know what I'm talking about, don't argue just to argue.

You are either throwing out Godsent to get judgement, so you dont have it when needed, or you are holding godsent to actually shield people..and rarely ever getting judgement to begin with no? Is it better to not just eat some food and use godsent on demand when needed and forgo judgement conviction for wealth/focus?
I run the same set up that ATK does and it's only an issue with judgment rune below purple. Once you have purple judgment rune, you proc it almost 100% of the time after conviction. C/J combo has a 30 second cooldown before you can trigger it again. This means that once you see it proc, you can just hold godsent law for shielding allies if you'd like. Since sword of judgment is low cd and you use it whenever it's off cd, you can see when you'll be able to proc C/J combo again and know that you need to use godsent law for it. Additionally, in my experience melee characters are the ones that are taking damage and are typically on top of the boss so anytime I'm using godsent law to proc C/J, it is also shielding my allies. The only time that I would have an issue is when I have 2 ranged dps in my party and I have to use godsent on them away from the boss. I think C/J is a really good combo bc it shaves time off your holy protection and your wrath/holy blessing so you can get more uptime on the buffs. It also works on your awakening so you can build meter faster and get your aura up more often. It's a really smooth build imo once you have all the pieces going. However, I would only recommend it once you get purple c/j runes.

@@xrydisx not very many patterns exist in the game right (to my knowledge) that can one shot you where godsent would've made the difference. Heavy damage mechanics are usually scripted/telegraphed like the argos pizzas, the homing pizza mech g2 valtan, and failing typing test in g3 vykas. A huge part of playing support is recognizing these mechanics and preemptively protecting your allies. Also godsent isn't your only defensive measure. You have holy protection and heavenly blessings also provides damage reduction if everything else is on cd and you REALLY need it. I think ATK was just trying to highlight optimal situations to use godsent. It's kind of why I was watching this vid actually to see where I can better save my abilities for. It's definitely better to prioritize saving allies than to proc judgment.
Really love your videos but not a fan of skills you are using. You can proc conv/judge with Godsent and Holy Sword. Light Shock with Quick Recharge is much better for uptime on shields/buffs. lvl 5 tripod on Godsent Shield has almost 100% uptime with quick recharge proc on Light shock. Also, g1 Vykas replace executor sword with Holy Land for amazing dmg mitigation.
you are set up as dps and you are tryin too much to keep that buffs and debuffs up time while I think the main thing is supporting by keeping ppl alive first then the boss will die soon or later. for example you did'nt notice that at 7:00 shadowhunter was dying
You'll see here that he really barely use a paladin lol. He has like 30% uptime of the 15% atk buff, while not hitting the boss when using them to generate identity faster.

The shorter the CD the more healing and shielding you will give over all.
Spec does not increase the healing of your blessed aura, only the damage buff.

Vital and DoE, any of the two. If ur really scared, go with HA or SA in any order.
Magic Stream is also very good to boost CD reduction even more

Gems LVL5 ? Upgrade the CD reductions gems to LVL7 or higher and trash that useless Magick Stream engravings.
