But is it okay to ask the source you got the part where you said Nigerians aren't eligible for the premium visa? I tried checking online and I haven't been able to find out.
I saw a list that said if your country isn't on the list then you have to apply for a tourist visa, come to Mauritius and then apply for the premium visa from within Mauritius. But I didn't see anything that sounded like an outright ban 🤔

No it is not.
Work permit takes more than a month to process. A tourist visa is just one week

Is true that for student visa it’s visa on arrival and the embassy sends ur visa to the school
Ehm no
The school issues a temp visa for you to come in which is valid for 3 months. Only tourists are visa on arrival.
After entering you get your student visa valid for the duration of your course within a month.

1. You need a visa to travel to Mauritius as a Nigerian. Visa on arrival for tourists, then other procedures for other types of visas
2. If you are coming here to work. You need a job first, the companythen requests a work visa on your behalf

@@TheodosiaOyibo thanks, I have got the confirmation i needed. I have OP and want to sponsor my spouse. Some guys were saying only marriage certificate from Ikoyi High court would be recognized. But i got confirmation that its not compulsory.
@CHUKWUMA PRINCE okay that's great. You can bring your spouse if you are on an OP. So what document do you require if not marriage certificate?
@@TheodosiaOyibo that’s basically what you need, then there are other forms issued at the immigration office you have to fill. But she can not work, because it’s not a work permit, but a dependent visa. If she wants to work, then the office that employed her will process her work permit. That’s how it works.

@lawonyinye7056 which embassy? Mauritius doesn’t have an embassy in Nigeria. I believe it’s explained in the video as well.
Apply to the school and they would handle everything. The school and immigration issues the visa. Not you.

Mauritius needs to ditch its stupid mask and quarantine policies. These are what are putting a lot of people off from visiting or relocating. I wouldn't want to go somewhere where I have to put a silly rag over my face all the time. It makes no sense. You need to get your government to drop these mandates.
