oh my gosh I love you so so so much. You just said "Is 1988 an antique" and my husband was born in 1985 and so quickly was like "NOOOOOO gah!!!!!!!" I am not dead laughing.
I love your nativity set! My mom had that same one, she might still have it. It’s definitely vintage, antiques tend to be, I believe, 75 years old and older.
Im hopefully doing my first craft show in 2024 selling crochet things! Your videos have helped me a LOT figuring out what I’m going to do and that Pricing Guide is worth it’s weight in gold!
Hi Camryn I love your videos 😊 thank you for sharing your story, I’m fairly new to the world of crochet but am truly hooked. Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 all the way from Shetland UK
Your such an adorable couple xx I had my last event on Saturday n I was kinda sad cus like u I love the buzz and social side of it , my next one not until February , I loved ur setup and colours looked super christmasy , thank you so much for giving me lots of inspiration and ideas for my stall you have helped me so much xxx
I feel like any table covering can do. It just depends on the size. I used for my first craft fair a well-sized plastic temporary table cover and it actually looked so good lol. I wouldn't have thought it would have but it did
Hi Camryn, so glad you had a great show. Just curious -- how do you handle custom orders? Do you have an online shop where they pay in advance? Can you explain your process? Thanks so much, and happy holidays. :)
Hi there! At the moment, I only take custom orders either in person, or if someone emails me. Because I have such a busy schedule right now, I'm more hesitant to take custom orders (although I still take some). However, when I am taking custom orders, I do have a form for people to fill out via my website! I usually then contact them and give them a rough estimate of time!
I added your velvet beanies and wristlets to my inventory at my last market and my daughter had another crochet vendor approach her to say, “I know who your favorite UA-camr is…” She was so lost, but it made me chuckle! That said, two Christmas markets and I’m not having nearly the success. The booths with the neon amigurumi are all sorts of popular, but that’s just not my vibe. I’m not sure what else to do!
Hi there!! That’s so funny! 😂 And regarding your second point, I’d love to talk more about that! A quick glance makes it seem like a product-audience issue, where what you’re making isn’t specifically designed for the audience that is attending those shows. Feel free to email me if you’d like to talk more about this and other strategies we could try!
Hey! I’m starting to crochet more and one of my goals for 2024 is to go to craft shows more! Did you have to set up an LLC in your name and how long did the process of starting up your business take? 😄
Consider getting a stool for markets yes they an be clunky there are foldable ones though bar chairs that way you are sitting up towards your customers I know someone who did this instead of a low chair and improved sales by 30% customers walking by want to see you up and engaged with them it goes a long way and then you can crochet higher so they see as well
Question- how do you cover tax with cash vs card orders? Do you cover tax on the back end with the cash payments to keep it more of an even dollar amt for the customer? Is this different than the card orders?
This might be a weird thing to say, but does your husband ever get told he looks like a young Ethan Hawke?? I think that every time I see him in your vlogs haha. Love your videos!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me in today’s vlog!:) ❤
oh my gosh I love you so so so much. You just said "Is 1988 an antique" and my husband was born in 1985 and so quickly was like "NOOOOOO gah!!!!!!!" I am not dead laughing.
Oh my gosh 😂😂 I think I certainly meant vintage!! Your husband is not antique! 😂❤️
I love your nativity set! My mom had that same one, she might still have it. It’s definitely vintage, antiques tend to be, I believe, 75 years old and older.
You're very right, I used the wrong word here! But that's so awesome your mom had the same one! :)
loved this, enjoyed till the end 😊😊😊
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)
Im hopefully doing my first craft show in 2024 selling crochet things! Your videos have helped me a LOT figuring out what I’m going to do and that Pricing Guide is worth it’s weight in gold!
That's so incredibly exciting! I'm very happy to play a part in you starting your business :)
Everting is so beautiful. You are so talented.
Thank you so much! :)
This is fantastic! Congratulations on your well earned success.

You are too kind! :) you’re so right that going a long time without a market can make me really miss it!
No fee wow I wish I had one with no fees.. so happy u did well. You and your husband are so cute!
Thank you so much! No fee is certainly not the norm, but it's always welcome!
I felt ancient when you asked wether 1988 is antique 😂😂😂
I was in my teens back then so antique is a matter of perception 😂😂😂
😂😂 I in no way meant to make anyone feel old!
I'm going to have to make your tree and snowmen for next year. They are all so cute!
Wishing you a wonderful Merry Christmas ❤💚🎅🤶🎄
❤️❤️ I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, too!

It’s always so good to experiment and see what works!!
You are so bubbly! I can see you doing great at the craft fairs. Does Hubby have to pry you off the ceiling sometimes? 😂
😂😂 He is so opposite to me, in that he does not show his energy at all! He is very mellow!
Your set-up looks so pretty! I love how all the colors go together.
Thank you so much! :)

ouch camryn *cries in antique* hahaha
Hey! I’m starting to crochet more and one of my goals for 2024 is to go to craft shows more! Did you have to set up an LLC in your name and how long did the process of starting up your business take? 😄
The process is different for each state/country, and I actually have a sole-prop! But I remember it not being too bad or taking too long!
Consider getting a stool for markets yes they an be clunky there are foldable ones though bar chairs that way you are sitting up towards your customers I know someone who did this instead of a low chair and improved sales by 30% customers walking by want to see you up and engaged with them it goes a long way and then you can crochet higher so they see as well
Those are excellent points! Thank you for your input!
I watched this in fast forward.
I watch a lot of content in fast forward, too! :)
It’s vintage baby girl. Anything over 100 years is antique anything under is vintage.
Thank you for the clarification!
Question- how do you cover tax with cash vs card orders? Do you cover tax on the back end with the cash payments to keep it more of an even dollar amt for the customer? Is this different than the card orders?
I incorporate taxes into the display price so that the customer pays the even dollar amount!
Out of curiosity, what was this event called?
Omg I'm considered an antique! 🤦🏻♀️I'm older than your nativity scene lol
Oh my gosh 😂😂 I think I meant to say vintage!! You’re not antique!
This might be a weird thing to say, but does your husband ever get told he looks like a young Ethan Hawke?? I think that every time I see him in your vlogs haha. Love your videos!
Oh yeah!! He really does 😂
He does get that a lot! Sometimes he will grow his hair back and grow out a goatee, and then he really does!
What kind of hooks are those, attaching the tags.
Oh geez, now I feel antique being born in 1977. LOL
Oh my goodness 😂❤️ I in no way meant to make anyone feel old!
@@camryns_cute_creations I wasn’t offended. I actually thought it was funny! Lol
How much do you asked for the snowmen?
Is 1988 an antique.....damn, girl. We're vintage, if anything 😅
I’m so sorry 😂😂 I mixed up my words and meant vintage!
@@camryns_cute_creations it's all good, just got to give grief sometimes. I choked on my Cheerios when you said 'antique' and then was like 1988 🤣
Do you sell your snowman pattern?
I do! It is available on my website!
I guess I'm considered old. Thank you 😂 😢😮9/14/1988 😊
Hi how are you doing today 😊❤
I am doing well! I hope you’re doing well, too? :)
@@camryns_cute_creations I am doing good
1988.... That's the year I was born ... Hopefully you don't think that's an antique age..lol
I was cracking up...I was born in 80. I about died when she was asking about 88 being antique 😂😂😂
Me too! My husband was born in 1980, I always ask him how it feels knowing he was 8 when I was born... 😂😂
@tulenascrochetshop That's hilarious!!! Mine was 7 when I was born and I mess with him about it too 🤣🤣
@@LifeNStitches 😂😂 it's fun to mess with the men sometimes. Lol
Fun day
Antique is 100 years vintage is 20
Thank you for the clarification!
