Like it brother, I did one the other day and made a bourbon/maple syrup/apple juice/honey glaze and omg was it incredible, love your content keep em coming, looking forward to your Christmas vid
Made this last year and was amazing! Was scared I wouldn’t find this video again I Had to scroll through my history(a years worth) thats how good it was
Quick tip: When you are putting the honey in the glaze, lightly coat the measuring cup with cooking spray or oil (or a thin coat of butter). When you add it into the glaze, you will get every single drop of that sweet honey, and it will come out faster, leaving a clean (relatively) cup!
Just found this video. I have the Camp Chef Woodwind, and I love it. Easter Sunday, temperature dropped, and it rained all day. Had a hard time keeping my pellet stove up to heat, so it took longer, but it did the job. Best ham I've had in a long time, and the glaze was delicious.
Incredible recipe, tried it twice and a big hit with the family up here in Canada!! It’s being served again for Christmas on request of my kids!! Well done!!
Awesome looking ham brother!! I like that idea of covering the ham with foil for a while!! I might have to try that one of these days!! Thanks for sharing brother!!
It takes away from the smoke, but the moisture helps push through on the cook and produce a nice juicy ham. Also letting it steam in the teriyaki, DDP, and OJ makes for a nice flavor! Thanks for watching man!
Just bought myself a masterbuit 560 - My dad has already requested smoked ham for xmas dinner this year :) think i may be stealing this recipe Keep up the good work buddy, love these vids
Been watching your videos! You have helped me take my cooks to a whole new level. I am wanting to smoke a ham so I looked on your channel first. You did mot disappoint. Your videos are precise and well narrated. Great job!! Oh and I spit my beer laughing when you said "even your mother in law will love" thats damn funny
Love the channel. Began watching after searching for PitBoss verticals after I bought mine several years ago. Used your glaze recipe with just a few changes (pineapple instead of orange), and it was fantastic. The Dr Pepper was a great addition. Keep up the awesome work!
Wow that color was amazing after the two hour mark and even better when finished. Where'd you get the framed bottom handle for your aluminum pan? That's a pretty smart way of dealing with those pans. Thanks for sharing.
My local grocery store has a pretty good selection of aluminum pans and have a few with these handles.... I never even thought about it but I should've tried to pull it off and try it with another pan...
Just found your channel and will be doing this for Christmas. Wondering, with the apple wood chunks I'll be using if I use Apple Juice instead of Orange Juice would keep a little more sweetness in.
I’m new to pellet smokers and wanted to ask a few questions. I was looking at the smoke pro dlx. What is your opinion on that compared to the char grill 980? What is longevity of a pellet smoker? Lastly, how much meat can you smoke on one? I guess it can smoke a full brisket? Thanks for any help and I really enjoy your videos.
You can definitely cook a brisket on the DLX! It really depends on your preference. Pellet grills typically produce a more mild smoke flavor vs charcoal a little more bold. Both run great, but a pellet grill is slightly easier to operate.
@@AndersonsSmokeShow at the last minute we bought the char grill 980. Just like charcoal. Do you have a video on putting the gasket on the hopper? I appreciate your help and I’ve watched so many of your videos. You do an amazing job. Thanks again
I didn’t film the gasket install but I lined them up other gasket to make for a tighter fit. I have a link in the description that should take you to the gasket I used.

How long on average does it take to cook at 300 degrees?
You may have mentioned it in the video, but what was the total cook time on this ham?
I think it was around 5hrs.. from the point we wrap it up in foil we start monitoring the internal temp, so time isn’t as important then.
Trying this out as I type this
We love this recipe!

Yup!

Why didn't you use the Masterbuilt 40?
I have 6 grills and smokers and I like to rotate through a few of them. Plus I love my Camp Chef's! Thanks for watching Kenny!
Lost me at Dr Pepper

Ya lost me at Dr Pepper man.
