For the -94-95 season out of all NBA players Dana Barros was: 5th in effective field goal % 6th in true shooting % 4th in successful 3-pointers 3rd in 3-p % 3rd in free throw % 7th in total assists 10th in steals per game 2nd in total minutes 6th in win shares 2nd in offensive win shares and offensive box plus/minus 5th in offensive rating 9th in value over replacement player Salary for the -94-95 season - 937 500 $ And he did not make any All-NBA teams. Barros' -94-95 season must be one of the single most underrated NBA season in the history of the league. After the Celts signed him next season, his minutes dropped from 40.5 to 29.1. Barros was seen more as an SG than a PG. That's a bad thing for a 5'11" guy. Even tho he was 7th in assists in the league. His career eFG% was 53.6 % compared to Allen Iverson's 45.2 %.

It's weird seeing someone besides Iverson wear 3 in a Sixers jersey. Btw, didn't know Barros played for the Sixers 😱 I only remember him as a member of the Celtics
This little 5' 11 dude hit 197 threes in the 94-95 season with the hand check rules and everything. Yet some people think Wardell Curry would struggle to get to 200 at the same time. Smh.

Loved his time with Sonics. He was drafted along with Kemp. And, I believe they were back to back picks. I think he may have been picked up before Kemp too. Because Kemp was just turning 19.

This was one of the first trust the process teams. Dana Barros was an all-star with us, but besides him, we was horrible everywhere else. He came after we traded away Barkley, Hawkins, Gmenski, and more. We had Shawn Bradly, Baby Barkley in Clarence Weatherspoon, Tim Perry, Michael Cage, Jeff Malone, BJ Tyler, Sharon Wright and a bunch more horrible players. Luckily we was so bad, in the next few years of draft picks, we gained Stackhouse, Tim Thomas, Larry Hughes, and Iverson.
I think Cage wasn't there that year. He went to Phi the same year they drafted AI. But they did have nba champion Scott Williams, and Willie Burton too..
Agreed, that team was hot garbage. Just awful. A bunch of stat ladders. Cage with the rebounds, Malone with the calorie free points, Weatherspoon had one or two good years on bad teams, Sharon Wright was a bust.

This man was short but had a deadly shot and if you left him open he would hit that shot most of the time to make you look stupid. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
It's weird how his production steadily declined after this season. You'd figure after a season averaging 20 ppg you wouldn't be a bench player the following season.
My favorite player growing up. Wasn't easy watching those bad Celtics teams but he was always exciting.

He actually kinda looks like rookie year Iverson, before the corn rows
Imagine tryna find a Dana Barros 76ers jersey... impossible
Every #3 is obviously an AI rookie jersey
Just a skillwise Dana Barros would be Most Valuable Player in todays NBA. He would be 10+ 3pt made per game.
I played summer ball with him in Beantown!
It's weird seeing someone besides Iverson wear 3 in a Sixers jersey. Btw, didn't know Barros played for the Sixers 😱 I only remember him as a member of the Celtics
Well he did have his best year of his career with the sixers
barros is underrated
Running screens around Shawn Bradley must be like a regular sized person using the statue of liberty as a screener.
This man can play. And he is wearing my fav number, number 3. The guy to wore that number before AI
Reppin the 617! 👌🏼
Amazing guy, Dana Barros!!!
I remember this Sportscenter clip back in March 95. Had him on my fantasy hoops team that year.
That didnt exist in 95 man lol
I like this performance
This the legendary 50 on Kenny game
He was a fun player
21-26 dam and he has a good amount of assists and rebounds
The Prequel to AI

Top 10 guards!
Nowadays he would be better in this perimeter dominated game
Loved his time with Sonics. He was drafted along with Kemp. And, I believe they were back to back picks. I think he may have been picked up before Kemp too. Because Kemp was just turning 19.
That's my cousin

Good game by Barros. Great effort despite the fact the Sixers got beaten quite convincing in this game.
Iverson!
Sweet Video!
He was #3 before Allen Iverson!!!

He owns the aau team I play for it’s called the Dana Barros Gladiators it was originally Dana Barros but they worked with another team
He is my grandpa's cousin
I always liked him and Cedric ceballos
Most efficient 50 point game behind Steph Curry
Nah. See Adrian Dantley and Willie Burton.
My favourite Dana ... after Scully.
My Dad Dropped 35 on this Dude in his Prime✅
Dude was shooting line drives... and swishing 🤔
Ur Boy Dana Barros Looking Like Iverson Before A.i. Got There lol

The "90s Isaiah Thomas" ? Not Zeke, but the current IT.
I came here because of the ESPN Report: Steve Nash, other all-time greats believe Stephen Curry might be best shooter ever.
Dana gave Kenny 50
He’s my neighbor😂
Zan Tabak (55) got schooled.
Thats my choach
The only player to score more points than LeBron James while attempting at most 26 shots and 2 free throws
then came allen iverson
He walked so Iverson could fly.
This was his only great season. Glen Rice had one MVP type season also
damn iverson could shoot 3s
All over Kenny Smith.
AI wore it better
Kyle Korver > barros
Anyway...
Kyle Korver is 6'7".....Barros is 5'10"
