It's surprising to know that to get fresh products to us, it goes through such a long process, thank you for bringing a very interesting video.
Mr. Carter Barrett, Whittier, Ca., was a family friend [1950's]. He'd come to dinner and always showed us slides of his trips to Michoacán, Mexico. I LOVED these times! And learned so much! Mr. Barrett was largely responsible for getting folks to plant, grow and manage Avocado trees in Mexico. Thank you, Mr. B. for giving me valuable life lessons I've often appreciated!
I found the video to be truly remarkable and highly engaging, I loved every moment of it.

I happily grew up on an Avocado Ranch. I knew someday I'd MISS them, and how I DO!!!
At 85, I recall how we used to pick & trim each to sell--the tiny stem Must stay ON to prevent too fast ripening. [This video shows someone pulling it off the trees. NO!] Clip only!
Those long poles used to harvest Avocados? Tricky to use, but ya get good at it! It's Not easy. 'Sure is worth the happy taste, tho..
