    Thanks for your amazing comments! If anyone is struggling to reach out I run a peer-to-peer community for people who are neurodivergent/mental health and want to find a community of like-minded misfits. We're over at discord.gg/DpsjD4276p - We also do gaming streams as well as more general banter too! :)

    This IS Ren's Story. The Doctors literally told him that all the pain he was feeling was in his head. Instead of treating him for Lyme Disease (Sick Boi, Sick Boi, Bitten by a Tick Boi), they gave him psycho-active/tropic drugs. The fact that the medical community basically Denied what he was going through caused even more problems for him (Psychosis) as he thought he really was "crazy". He's stated publicly that he has developed PTSD surrounding "Medical Professionals".....now you understand why he sees them as PIGS (the pig mask).

      wow yes that makes sense and I think the PTSD you mention is all too common with those who are seen to help us not actually helping us at all.

      @@DivergentReactions There is an American artist by the Name of Tom MacDonald. In one of his songs, he sings the line, "Big Pharma don't cure you, Dog....Cause a customer Cured is a Customer LOST".
      That's basically how I feel about the Medical community these days. So much of modern medicine has been taken over by Big Pharma (here in the U.S., a lot of medical "schools" are funded by Big Pharma).
      A LOT of what we've been told, about Diet/Nutrition has been one big LIE. As a result, human beings keep getting sicker and sicker.
      Most doctors these days don't how to do anything but "Medications", and most of them are literally too stupid/misguided to realize how dangerous that really is.

    You have to watch the Tale of Jenny and Screech full version. Ren is a story teller. But I am also trying to figure out how to describe Ronnie and Ren, they are in some ways the two sides of the same coin. The extrospection vs introspection, the super high production vs extremely minimal, etc, with both being masterful jack of all trades the chose. Ren is the light to Ronnie's shadow?

      Great way of explaining it Cas that makes lots of sense! I've just recorded the Jenny and Screech reaction and that's a special one too. This guy's a genius.

    You might enjoy Chalk Outlines (live) by Ren.

    What I loved at the start of that video was the full use of lighting, frail humanity and loud slap base which bled over Ren's conversation with the therapist, It beautifully highlighted his inner turmoil bleeding over his ability to hear anything and fully engage, (i am deaf so i found it hard to hear her words over the background noise btw, which is where this idea came from to me) His responses resonate as subdued and introverted and as a result his therapist is completely oblivious to his inner screaming pain. True artistry and extremely powerful eye opening content. as ever Ren is a powerful inspiration.

    I feel you so much. I'm just in the process of being diagnosed and so far we've got cPTSD, ADHD and hypersensitivity. I wanted my therapist to do an autism assessment but she won't. It's frustrating

    • @DivergentReactions
      @DivergentReactions  Рік тому +1

      I'm surprised she won't considering you have the diagnoses in place for others. I have similar experiences with diagnosis but from my (not-medical) knowledge, the pathway for supporting cPTSD and ADHD is much clearer (therapy, meds) rather than ASD which is thrown wide open by being such a broad diagnosis.
      Feel free to join my Discord community if it helps - Many of us in there are in similar positions and we all find comfort in talking to each other :) - discord.gg/DpsjD4276p

      Thanks for the comment. Point noted. I have ADHD, autism and tourettes so it can be hard for me to gauge timings, but I'm always open to constructive feedback like this!
      I try and keep my reactions authentic and unedited. Appreciated it's not to everyone's taste, but if it improves the quality of my reactions then I'll give it a go!

    You actually ran out of stuff to say that's how long you were bloviating

    • @DivergentReactions
      @DivergentReactions  Рік тому

      Fantastic word, and thanks for the second comment! As a lingusit, I love your choice of words - bloviating does explain this video very well
      I do my reactions unmedicated so they're more authentic. But I guess they would be more concise if I'd had my meds, so I'll try that for the next one!
