The M&M always reminded me of an old pair of work boots. Worn in..comfortable...familiar. Dread the day when that pair of boots serve their last step. Hopefully this new M&M will wear in with time and provide that same feeling to the residence of Butte.

Wow this is National Geographic quality!! Seriously, amazing stuff- it deserves more views! 🙌Btw, we came to your channel through Yes Theory's comment section, they are the creators that probably most inspired us to start our channel and a few weeks ago we got to meet and make a video with Ammar & Matt. We just posted a little trailer on our channel and thought we would share since we always love to connect with other members of the Yes Fam ⚡💙

    Thank you. I enjoyed this.
Id only say less 'dramatic' music throughout (only needed for the mine tragedy...if at all) & the volume of music a tad lower.
    Beautiful Butte 💚

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry it was too loud, it was an upload issue. I composed the music myself, and as a local Montanan, based it on events and feelings felt in Butte.

They don't want their town to get overrun by out of staters such as yourself.

    M&M was open in 2001-2002...

Sorry for any inaccuracies. According to my extensive research, including talking to many locals who have lived there their entire lives, it opened in 2005 as a bar again, but it may have been open before then as something else, perhaps as a museum or something similar.

See the M&M was closed, re-opened and closed again twice. It was also once rebranded as the Anheiser Busch Resort right after Martin and Mosby sold it, although I'm not certain on the date off the top of my head. But yah, I wrote a book on the history of the bar in 2021. Bud Walker did re-open the M&M in 2005. Charlie Bugni, the longtime owner, closed it on April 15, 2003. Before that, it was closed for a few months in 1893 but re-opened in 1894. During prohibition it was rebranded again as a cigar store but was soon re-established as a bar again after it ended. It really was the lifeblood of Butte in more ways than one. I'm glad you got shots of it here in your film. I don't know what took me so long to find this online. But I thank you. @@cascadepro

Butte had it s first miner being a woman a native woman. Cecilia Johnson 1972. She was first woman in Teamsters Union. A woman who minner husband broke his back in mines was disabled with 6 children. Same woman also got Butte City Jail closed in May 5th. 1971 Earl Jonhson was said to killed himself. But 1980 many police were investagwd yet again. I attended the miner museum there was no mention of Cecila Johnson being first native woman open pit truck driver.
