The M&M always reminded me of an old pair of work boots. Worn in..comfortable...familiar. Dread the day when that pair of boots serve their last step. Hopefully this new M&M will wear in with time and provide that same feeling to the residence of Butte.
I will forever cherish this video. Thank you for the memories, sir 😁
it is not the Downtown of Butte, but the Uptown....but very good movie
Butte had it s first miner being a woman a native woman. Cecilia Johnson 1972. She was first woman in Teamsters Union. A woman who minner husband broke his back in mines was disabled with 6 children. Same woman also got Butte City Jail closed in May 5th. 1971 Earl Jonhson was said to killed himself. But 1980 many police were investagwd yet again. I attended the miner museum there was no mention of Cecila Johnson being first native woman open pit truck driver.
Cute video beautiful shots of the sunset. Looks like you had fun. Is this Crown Butte?
Yes it is!
Why are you trying to blow this place up and monetize it. If you had any respect for it, you’d keep quiet about it.
For your information, I don’t earn a single cent from any of my videos. I’m trying to share my respect for it, so that others who discover it might also have that respect. People are going to find it anyway, with or without me. Also, I make these videos because I enjoy it. If I wanted money from it, I would have pitched it to a streaming service or a tv channel.
No way, you actually edited in the Lancelot thing, that’s awesome 😂
I think I’ve seen that old building before
Dude that guitar music while we run into the darkness and you pan up to the sky 🤯 amazing 😂
That thumbnail is crazy man. I looked at it for like 5 seconds before I realized it was me. Then I spent the next two minutes trying to figure out where the hell it was before realizing that that was my house. And then I couldn’t figure out why I looked like I was ducking under my garage door. Good choice Alex 👍🏿
Thank you!
Im going to Makoshika!
Great video!
Hey, I know those guys
I lived in sabido an old trapping cabin , also drank from the source of the middle fork , strawberry creek and I think calbick creek come together to form the middle fork i could be wrong bad memory i did make entries in all the guestbooks for each cabin gooseberry and schaeffer meadows amazing time in my life this place will forever be in your soul
Thank you. I enjoyed this. Id only say less 'dramatic' music throughout (only needed for the mine tragedy...if at all) & the volume of music a tad lower. Beautiful Butte 💚
Thanks for the feedback! Sorry it was too loud, it was an upload issue. I composed the music myself, and as a local Montanan, based it on events and feelings felt in Butte.
It's such a magical place. Thank you for sharing!
Congratulations! This is your moment.
The Bob Marshall Wilderness and no views of the famous Chinese Wall?
Hi! Thanks for watching! The point of this series is to highlight things that are less known and less famous. This is to show how big these places are. The Bob Marshall Wilderness is not just the Chinese Wall, but a 1.5 million acre wilderness area, of which the Chinese Wall is about 10,000 acres. With that said, there is one sequence with a shot of the Chinese Wall towards the end of the documentary to show how large of a place it is.
👏🎉👏 🎉 Well met, well met indeed
Great mountain I have climbed it a few times👍Not sure about the 5 .7. I've seen it listed between fourth class and 5.3
Easily my favorite peak I have done. I will always remember that day. I’ve only ever seen it listed as a 5.7. I believe there was a rockfall a few years ago that may have made it more technical. I definitely didn’t want to climb it unprotected. But the alternative route we found is class four, maybe low class five.
@cascadepro looking back at some info, different climbers and guidebooks have rated this climb from class 3, up to and including 5.7. It's definitely not a 3, lol. I looked at some of your other videos. I have been through nearly all of the same places 👍 I've got a few recommendations you might be interested in. Grand Teton, Gannett Peak, and Mt Rainier are a few. At your skill level, they should all be possible.
@@SkiSkillsMontanathanks for the recommendations! Gannett and Rainier are definitely two I’ve really considered climbing next year. I have also considered Grand Teton, although I think that’ll be a in few years.
Congratulations you two!
Amazing work, man! Truly inspiring
😉🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Verry nice
This is really cool!
