I think another big reason for their downfall is the strike counters in the game. Even though they're a blast based character, they'll inevitably have to use either a strike or melee based Blue card at some point with how combo focused they are. And with UUI still being a menace and UL Gohan being one of the current Big 3 members, it's consistently gonna be hard for them to keep a combo going before they get one comboed themselves.
You made a really good point with Ultra UI taking his place. If you run them on the same team, they are competing with each other the whole time.

@kanz08 as someone who still desperately runs EvoKen (I'm delulu) and runs UUI on the same team, you have to focus on one unit for the match. EvoKens unique gauge is personally one of my favorite, but in order to get the maximum benefit of the gauge you need to tag switch about 4 times. If the opponent is running a purple unit, you are forced to run goku, but at that point you would rather run UUI because he locks the opponent in, and if they happened to switch you get a free ultimate. I would rather run LL Rev UI alongside UUI instead of trying to run EvoKen in the meta atm.
i might be wrong but i think u may have left out the fact that almost every unit released after the gt campaign as combo disrupt which highly effects evoken.
Evoken has been the most sought after unit for me during the Legends fest, even more the Ultra UI. I got beast Gohan in just 800 chrono crystals but for that unit it took over 25k. So seeing him fall like this is just sad

I think sth that was also an issue is that Evoken were the worst units in terms of defense or protective abilitys. If you look at janemba and every other lf/ultra that came out after him they all have either endurance/revival/indestructable or they had abilitys to reduce subcount against ultimates or rushes or reduce the damage. Evoken had nothing like that so they were the easiest to kill which made them vulnerable against ultra UI for example
I mean, they were replaced in part three by UUI, plus Uni-Rep already had RevUI to fill the role of a grn character.
that banner is where all my luck was and they was good but I never felt the best or even top units
Run this unit on a team with EX PUR Yajirobi and SP GRN Ginyu, and have EX PUR GT Goku, SP GRN Future Mai, and EX GRN Guldo as supporters, and give EvoKen the Equipments "Let's Go!!," "Haaaaa...!!," and "You won't even be able to lay a finger on me." I run this team on PVP and can reach on average Battle Rank 65 in S League.

they need a plat that gives about 35% to all stats, and gives them 10 counts of covernull and 5 counts of bonus card draw on their first switch in

im 799th like!!!Also im sad they fell off because now every match has broly fury,Lord of lords,gohan ssj 2,or vegito and gogeta and all them are annoying to fight id much rather fight goku and vegeta
they have so much damage inflicted in their kits just to deal no damage
Sucks even more that I hard focused on them only for me to get them at 10 stars and have them get fucked by UI and Gohan.

In my opinion, the reasons Evo/Ken “fell off” (still around top 20 and completely viable) while his contemporaries “didn’t” (they are mostly also around the top 20 range with the exception of Ultra Sign) is because Red Beast, Goku/Bardock and Ultra Sign all had niches to fill, Evo/Ken just did a lot of damage, and in basically the same way as Ultra Sign, their kit was replaceable and Ultra Sign proved it, as they are basically the same unit but Ultra Sign is better because of the full lock, the combo break and the passive dodge and just being better at damage, also the tag, Uni Rep/Uni Survival, was a extremely bloated with good characters at the time, so just raw damage wasn’t necessary for the team, contributing something else was a far bigger deal, the same was also soon to be true for their other main tag, Son Family, as pretty much every release from the start of Legends Fest 2023 until Ultra Gohan included a top 30-20 Son Family unit (specifically placings at the time could be debated) with the exception of Vegeta and 16 who was in the same celebration, and speaking of Ultra Gohan, he killed the Green Son Family slot just by being so good, and while it’s usually not a big deal if you end up having to dupe an element, if you can avoid it it’s better not to and before Gohan Evo/Ken didn’t have to worry about this, being not only the only relevant Son Family green, but Uni Rep/Uni Survival green as well, and suddenly not only was the green slot on Som Family completely killed, but if you wanted, and many people did exactly this, you could just lead Gohan on Uni Rep/Uni Survival, killing the green slot everywhere else too, and again, it’s not the biggest deal, but if you can avoid duping colors, it’s just better, and both Son Family and the Uni Rep/Uni Survival teams could avoid it just fine
Basically: Ultra Sign was the murderer, Ultra Gohan was an accomplice
Zenkai Jiren getting Slaughtered by UUI is the cause of Evoken to fall off.... Before if they got caught atleast they had Jiren to tank... but after UUI they had no where to go

bro... i spent 34k cc. I mained top, i was so happy that we got a new one. my evoken is 8 stars, or 1 red star right now, but my top team is really insanely good so i still find value in him but its still very upsetting 🤷
I just think that there element factor green is week its only carried by ultra rose and fsk, and the way evoken gets spotlight is if it’s used passively, one think I want for a plat equip if the make one is type neutral with vegeta and more damage inflicted by 30%

I got them to 7 stars and used them a bit but I got gogeta at 7 now so I js use fusions
In my opinion EvoKen never had much popularity. When they were revealed everyone loved them BUT ONCE THERE WAS A FAKE OUT AND BEAST WAS REVEALED everyone did a 180 on them and said "I don't want you anymore" its like that Toy Story meme of Andy dropping the toy onto the floor. Mad disrespect for EvoKen.

They need a plat that gives immunity to Ki reduction for 8 timer counts on using a green card

i have them 9 stars with a zenkai buff, and they get outdamaged by a 5 star uui with no zenkai buffs, and in half the time
@kingki1185 what about the equipment? U could very well mistakenly put the wrong equips, and how much damage they do measured card by card isn't their thing. It's the long ass combos that do.
