I enjoyed the history lesson and exploring Knoxville. So, so much more to your whole area than just shopping, shows and touristy things! Glad you're showing us the 'real' Tennessee.
Very interesting video. I've lived my entire life in the Blount County area and never knew the story behind the name of our airport. I love learning new things about local history.
Thanks for sharing this video. I would love for you to show the big river paddleboat in Knoxville. We rode the one in Louisville The Belle of Louisville and loved it. I highly recommend doing the sunset cruise. We did not get the food and was glad we didn’t because we went on and got our pick of the chairs on deck up front while others were eating. lol
Beautiful cemetery. I enjoy walking through and reading the old tombstones in cemeteries. The cemetery in Savanah is a beautiful place as well. Say every year I am going to order a banana splitmm but never do. Safe travels and God bless.
@@roymaria6042 💟Hi Roy and Maria💟 WOW, the midwest has really had some crazy weather since spring began. I know you two will get through this. In Tennessee its about the same but Im so high up we do cool in the evenings into late morning. Adam the Woo drove through Waycross, GA (one of 2 or 3 choices he had planned on moving too) on his latest series he's doing and he mentioned Pigeon Forge several times. If I was betting, Im sure he will spotlight the area and my dream would be for ALL the youtube artist to gather and meet up with him. (especially Will) They always seemed to have great chemistry. Hope to see you on-line. HAPPY FATHERS DAY ROY, and maria to all the great men in your life 💟
What a beautiful cemetery! If you’re ever back in Cincinnati, you need to check out the Spring Grove Cemetery. It a beautiful HUGE cemetery that is really more like a park. Lots of history at every turn. Do some reading up on it. It’s incredible😊❤️ Have a blessed weekend🙏
What a beautiful day out, Will I love how you are so into history.I learn a lot from you…that ice cream look so good so now I wan ice cream!!!🤦🏻♀️…this was fun Will and Dawn and y’all look amazing…y’all be safe!!!😊💕
Love old cemeteries. Here in my hometown we have a lot of old cemeteries because Sherman and his troops came through here in the civil war, we also have a gypsy cemetery where the queen and her family are buried.. the Mitchell’s. People from all over come here to go through the gypsy cemetery and lay beads and coins and candles at the graves
So nice knowing the history of the name of Knoxville's airport....God rest their souls....a beautiful resting spot indeed by the tree....love the Alice in Wonderland gift shop....very cool. Just another awesome, awesome, awesome video! And that's how a true banana split should be! YUM!!!
Have you guys ever seen "the millennial stone cleaner" channel? He goes around the country fixing broken head stones in old cemeteries. East of the Mississippi there is an endless amount of history to explore. Great video guys❤
I watch sidestep adventure and he goes to old cemeteries and tells. History. Lots of lost ones, and old slave ones. He does some cleaning of stones, but lots of cleanup and document history of cemeteries.
Amazing history of Knoxville. We stayed downtown in an apartment when the Worlds Fair was there. We love old drug store soda fountains. There is a very nice one in Forest City, NC that we enjoy going to when we visit our friends.

😂 Hi Tony, On a serious note, it makes me sad that we as a society haven't got a handle on mental illness. We hope they take their meds most don't. Have a good week.
@@watchingfromthesideline1408 I think that was Reagan's only true blunder as President. We need the mental institutions, but they have to be run with integrity and honesty, while trying to diagnose, cure, and, in some cases, give lifetime care. Have a wonderful week as well. 🙏
