I recently purchased this Ciari Ascender Standard guitar and have fallen in
love with it because it plays and sounds great due to the PLEK'd neck and
    Seymour Duncan 59 pickups.
It also literally folds in half, which facilitates very easy travel since when it is folded it fits under an airplane seat. I personally tested and confirmed this on a family trip from Wisconsin to Florida just a couple of weeks ago.
I've tried almost every "travel" guitar on the market and frankly they are all kind of terrible at being playable or enjoyable to play but I like this Ciari guitar so much that it has become my main guitar at home, replacing a couple of other guitars I had because it plays and sounds better.
This is the standard model but I did have them upgrade the electronics so
that there is coil splitting on both pickups but this video is only some of the humbucker tones, more videos forthcoming.
Because I am enjoying it so much I agreed to become part off their Ambassador program which gets you the $150 Travel Backpack
for FREE if you use this link - ciariguitars.com/discount/MAT...
In this video I am running it straight into a Boss Katana 50 MKII combo mic'd
with a Cascade FatHead Ribbon Mic with a little of the audio from the iPhone
    video recording audio blended in.
As always, apologies for my mediocre and meandering noodling.
    Thanks for watching.

They are definitely not cheap but after trying the a couple different Traveler models, Donner models, and a few more esoteric brands over the last several years to test hoping to find an affordable travel guitar, it is night and day how much more enjoyable this thing is to play. Just a straight up really nice guitar that happens to be foldable, I've probably owned 100+ guitars over the last 30 years and this sounds and plays as good or better than any that I have had, even ones that cost 2x this much.
