anybody else feel like they stumbled through some disused long-ignored hallway to get here? like a mezzanine in a warehouse full of cool stuff that is technically in plain view of everybody on the ground floor but everybody has just tuned it out.
The Saxophone from the Master Reel, starting at 7:59, almost sounds like the old Screen Gems logo from the late 1960's. And I think I heard the percussion portion of the Swing It clip at 4:17 in a commercial recently.
0:45 scares me a little......odds are the people that happily sang that tune might be dead. and this could be their preserved voice their legacy on earth. happy lalala's
I'm something of a synth geek and had not heard of this machine before - I guess it was always eclipsed by the chamberlain and the mellotron as it was for etc domestic market. it rocks frankly!
Singing Rhythm. I’ve heard it in a commercial that came just months ago whenever the advertisement pops up on UA-cam. You may have heard it. It could possibly be Allstate or Google. Do you know what it was? Comment and let me know.
also, i'd like to hear full versions of these tracks. Is there a reason that they haven't been fully released to the general public? (copyright or something?)
Hi, our sample library contains the complete set of original Optigan disc sounds taken from the master tapes. This video is basically just a "commercial" for that product. So, yes, you can get the whole set of sounds from the Champagne Music disc in the sample library. :)
It's crazy to think that "sample loop packs for producers" have existed since the 60's.
1970’s actually

Wow! The sheer fact these tapes are still around is mind blowing. Ill be sure to pick up these recordings when I get the money.
Omg those rhythms on movin' are so 60s and funky. Makes me think of the 60s Spiderman cartoon for some reason lol

Singing Rhythm has been used in lots of different commercials and UA-cam music beds.
@@optigandotcom Every time I hear it I think of Bruce Haack's "Captain Entropy".
Do you by any chance have a master tape sample of Champagne Music? I'd love to hear that in HD!
