If you had half a brain you would realise you need a G3 or HWSS certificate to work on an unvented cylinder. If you don't have the equipment to test the electrical supply then you shouldn't be working on anything related to boilers, electricity or an unvented cylinder. You absolutely cannot be a gas engineer with a comment like that and lack of basic equipment. Go back to playing with lego bricks.
I was once electrocuted because I DIDN'T DO WHAT HE DID! bloody neutral wire inside a socket just popped out an sat in live terminal. What was the chance???
