Anna is back! After a few days away from the vlog because of how much work she's doing for uni, she's back with an update of how she's getting on. Unfortunately Andy can't do the same thing - we know there's something up at the moment, but he can't communicate it to us, and we're starting to get concerned.

Love you Anna I can't stand my husband's snoring either. I slept on the couch for years. Clocks and clicking fans,dripping water all brain torture. The weather affects most children and there are a lot of flu bugs going around. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

All those changes you saw in Andy this week remind of what happens when boys start having the hormonal changes of adolescents. Of course it's only been a few days but something to watch for at his age.
Sm Wright My first thoughts too. It's hilarious how I didn't notice my emotional state fluctuating thanks to hormones. I felt justified in my feelings despite how over the top.my reaction might've been.
It's gonna be weird hearing Andy's broken voice, or his man voice.

This sounds really odd and maybe a bit extreme, but if yall are all feeling tired and whatnot, you may wanna check your air conditioner/heater for carbon monoxide poisoning. That happened to me a few years ago. Almost everyone in my house was just exhausted all the time, and we just wanted to sleep nonstop. And I got really grumpy and just done with everything in general like Andy is. Hopefully thats not the case but it cant really hurt to check tbh
we don't have air conditioners in the UK and it's not cold enough to have the heating on atm
ohh i didnt know that. well at least thats not a possibility, i'd much rather it be something not life threatening lol
Boilers and cookers can also produce carbon monoxide, not just aircon units, so it's a valid theory. However, Kev doesn't seem to be suffering from any tiredness and he's at home more than Anna or Andy. Plus CO poisoning usually comes with flu-like symptoms and vomiting, which doesn't seem to fit. Good point though, bet not many would've thought of it!
We have a Carbon Monoxide sensor above our boiler - plus it's not effecting me. I think they're both just starting to get a bit tired and run down - remember they were both at home all day every day for a year and a half up until September, it's probably starting to feel like a long year for them both.
Growth spurt exhausts, and also maybe growing pains. He's at the right age.
I agree with Anna with the clock thing I do the same when I stay with family. I like quiet to sleep.
Sound like Andy is being a stroppy teenager lol maybe it’s his hormones and the other little changes in routines. For my son I buy the cream type thing for hay fever it’s like vasaline and you rub it under his nose and for my son under his eyes as that’s how the pollen effects him I’d doesn’t stop the hay fever altogether but it’s a lot better than without it .
Maybe Andy is just stressed. Just like girls I’m sure boys go threw puberty and it can be quite confusing for him. Just a thought.

that was cool I cant stand having fans going either in the room. I have two boys one with Adhd and one with Asd, anxiety, selective mutism my son with anxiety is about to start taking meds for it So I have been nurvise about him taking it and my son with Adhd loves to play fortnight
I'm no expert and you definitely know more about Andy than I do, but maybe he's just growing into his teenage self? Just a theory.
Totally agree with Anna, can't stand any kind of noise when im sleeping and yes that includes a ticking clock that's downstairs!!!
I have been really tired this week as well. Maybe it's linked to Hay-fever as I have it to xx

Don't forget...cute Andy is also an adolescent as well! I know some discipline may not work, but limits are important! Having said that you both do a fantastic job! Just a point perhaps use care when talking about neg behavior in front of Andy too!

YAY to everyone else in the secret end of the Vlog club. I was a touch unnerved wen you just stopped speaking and poor old Anna must have felt so uncomfortable.lol. I bet it’s not easy playing the “autism family guessing game” I no it’s not easy for me as someone who has ASD to no exactly what is knocking me out of sorts sometimes. Fingers crossed that Andy is able to pick up soon. Xx

I can't handle a ticking clock. I can't stand a ceiling fan either that has the chain clicking against it. Makes me go crazy.

I have misophonia and snoring KILLS me. I'm actually the opposite though in the regards of I can't have it entirely quiet. If it's entirely quiet I can hear every little sound. And people breathing, snoring, or outside noises are just too much to handle. In fact, ill lay awake anticipating sounds before they happen. From probably age 15 on I've slept with ear plugs every night and cannot go without them. Along with that, I hook my iPad or phone up to a Bluetooth speaker and play white noise as loud as it'll go. Snoring kills me. I just can't stand the sound of it even when I'm not trying to sleep. If I'm awake and hear my brother snoring in the other room I have to put headphones in or ear plugs. Just can't deal with it. Sucky part? I'm allergic to most ear plugs and there's a limited kind I can use. My local store stopped carrying them and the only place we can find them is a town over. People look at you strange when you buy $50 worth of ear plugs. Unluckily the brand I can use actually only come 6 pair a box. Luckily though, I can buy them online, 50 pairs per container for $14.86. Which is way more cost effective. That's one of those things where bulk just saves so much money. 6 pair are $3. Though I can buy a large container of 50 for $14.86. Same brand. Same type. I just realized I'm ranting over ear plugs.. 😂 When you've got misophonia though, ear plugs are a life saver. I've actually learned to largely read lips because I wear them in public.

I hate ticking clocks too ! That is all I can hear and focus on when they are in the room!!!!! Digital clocks all the way!
