Yes you do not need to be one arm for months again
Poo on you for criticizing him! Can you do this from scratch? Let's see it.
@@markfowler2066 wasn't criticizing him.im agreeing with him after what he said as he was doing the railing or it was coming down off the roof
Shocked at the jealous and pettiness in the comments here...
This channel is among the best for watching real farmers engineer and fabricate, versus go buy what they need/want.
Those projects pertain mostly to ag work...as they should; they're farmers not building contractors. With that in mind, they've done a helluva job at being general contractors too.
Being raised on a farm with a similar work ethic, and now being age 71...it's great to see innovators/engineers, responsible farmers, sons/husbands/fathers...men of integrity; men of God are still at work.
Leg Arms you owe no one here anything...you guys are the best.
In regard to "Case/IH" commercials...the clang of jealousy sounds.
UA-cam is another aspect of their business...sponsorship is a well earned perk. Case/IH could not do better than sponsor these guys.
Gosh thank you. I kinda needed to hear that. We try our best to give you all a balance and what we deal with in our lives. Thank you for supporting us
I hear ya jag. Most commenters couldn't even change a tire on their car, let alone a construction project or rebuild an engine like these guys can (I'm pretty good at that stuff as well- but Legarms and Nick have me beat) - and that's not even their main focus. haters gonna hate- tune em out.
Nice to meet Mrs. “Leg Arms” and she’s really sharp. Scott, great work on the railing and those roof vents, pure genius.
I love when people complain about ads a 1 minute long ad isn’t a very big deal and shouldn’t be a problem your getting free videos to watch and it’s a very small price to pay for how much time and work goes into making a good UA-cam video for everyone to watch for free really stop complaining about it at least it’s not like cable tv 15 minutes of commercials in a 30 minute tv show it could easily become that one day so be grateful for the less than 1 minute ad to get this guy paid or some free stuff for the house he just built and cost him tons of money if your a true fan of someone’s channel you should honestly be very understanding about one dumb quick ad out of the hole video really can’t stand when people complain about someone deciding to do an ad remember UA-cam is a job and a very hard job for a good smaller channel getting paid / free stuff is how they are able to expand and make better videos to watch be grateful and happy we are able to watch for free still
I forgot to mention in my previous comment, nice job on the railing, very spiffy!
All looks good 90% furnaces do that, even here in NC
We want more Sarah! Awesome railing. Went from rustic to modern! Looks nice!
You are a good man Scott Welker...and innovative!
You deserve a ton of ‘free’ stuff! Watching you build and particularly your plumbing work is amazing…the railing looks great-the test of kids bouncing off it will be interesting…
Guten morgen aus germanii. 👍👌💪Super Klass.
Railing looks great! You did a great job explaining this, Sarah! If it were me, I would have run the boiler vents thru the rim joist. Shorter distance for less condensation. Plus easy access.
He was almost not asking for advice
Always a Monday morning quarterback.
I am not sure the rim joist would be high enough off the ground in case of snow. Also not sure it would allow the vent to flow, down low like that if they have substantial winds which that part of the country has. Pretty sure a gable end or a roof exit was the only choice in this case. All of this is just an assumption
Give the wife a cameo now and then. She did great, and yes, that kit is probably the best solution.
SHEESH SCOTT!!! what can't you do? AWESOME
🙂 It was good to see Misses Leg Arms in the video's again!
Smart to install a utility receptacle on the roof. You may never use it, but will be invaluable if needed.
great for Christmass lighting.😘👍
@@codyfrisch4378 I would make a 'box cover' to slip over the outlet box.
I can think of too many reasons against a Bethlehem star or Christmas lights, but if you did want to plug something in for a longer period of time, have a taller and longer box that would protect the outlet and plug with the cord exiting from the bottom.
You really outkicked your coverage with your bride! Well done young lady
Railing looks good. Don't mind the "commercial " one bit. Excellent information as to where to get etc. Enjoy your new home. God Bless.
Hope your heat system on vent work out, because a tinroof on ice and snow is suicide. Your railing system sure turned out great.Good work, really strong and safe for the young ones.
run and rise of steps = angle. framing square has angles 🙂
Vents, maybe run wire back down pipe poked it out pipe inside, sealed those holes plugged in AC in attic, totally hid electric. Many ways I’m sure
Who would have thought people would get in such a jiffy about cable railings! I think it looks great!
Another great video. I always enjoy watching your family tackle problems. Thank You and Your Family and God Bless
Scott Nick Bob and the whole family you guys are unbelievable God bless you ❤
Your workmanship is amazing! Always looking ahead. Walking on that roof in the ice, made me afraid FOR you! Be careful!!
Scott you are AMAZING.....Nice well done job's....Thanks so very much and GOD BESS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 👍
Old Shoe🇺🇸
Looks amazing. Very. Nice
Your house is an absolute beauty! Can't wait to see Nick's house done too. Well done guys
Great job on rail and exhaust vents. Wish i had half of your talents and enginuity! God gives some gifts to all of us. Glad we are not all the same. It would be a dull world!
13:01 🤣🤣🤣🤣. You did an awesome job. And everyone knows the wife is an important part of the farm 👍👍✌️
The stairs are perfect. Leg Arms continues to impress. Well done.
That roof outlet will come in handy for your Christmas lights!
Cool stuff? Very creative.
Nice work, as usual, LegArms- & Mrs. LegArms, too!
We live in Saskatchewan and our farm house’s sewer stack would always freeze below about -25°C. The heat tape worked perfectly. The roof was steep and the stack was on the north side so it never got sun in the winter. Maybe a septic tank produces more vapour than a lagoon. Who knows🤷♂️
That is a good idea on putting heat rap around vent pipe, also having a electrical outlet on the roof great for installation of Christmas lights
What a grinch you are Scott. Protecting your kids from life ending possibilities, where’s the fun in that.🤣
Very good idea Scott good thinking
Now that you have the electric outlet on the top of the roof you'll have a way to plug your Christmas lights for next year.
put a big Christmas star on top of the house!
I thought the same thing for lights.
I'm happy to see another video of your new home build. Very nice railing, I will tell my granddaughter where to find this, it's just what they need for their new house.
Good job Scott, nice to see your home coming together!
Awesome rails!! Love the way it came out!!
Love the home videos! Beautiful home!
Good idea with leaving the rest of the railing. We don't need a mini Legarm with a broken arm. The big guy was enough. 😊
Neat idea for the roof!
Railing looks great!
Looks Great! Good job to Leg Arms and Mrs. Leg Arms.
Beautiful installation on the stairs and the roof!
That's beautiful. Well done!
Beautiful home!
Great job again with your work and abilities.
Great work Scott
Stair railing is awesome! Nice job on the roof vent freezing problem.
Great job!!! Really looks good.
Nicely done on the stair rail system install!
Nice job!
Really nice looking cable railing! Looks fabulous as did the flooring!
Great video LegArms
House is looking awesome LegsArms
Run the wire down through the vent.
Good call on the outlet on the roof. You can use it for Christmas lights too.
What an ingenious idea.🤙🤙
You are the man!
Really nice detail on your stair railing Scott! That is some fine work! Your wife must be an architect or interior designer too. Now that you have electricity up there, just to talk you into a "Widow's Walk" to enjoy what appears to be amazing views!! -Bob...
Really like that railing kit. Very nice looking in your house.
Great video. Thank you
A GREAT JOB ON THE RAILING!
Awesome thank you for sharing
Beautiful
Howie doooooooggg!!!!
Railing looks great. Good job!
That roof vent idea is very professional !!!!!!!!!
Railing looks great LegArms
awesome stare rails Scott
Nice finish job on that roof mod! It looks extremely professional up there.
The railing looks nice.
Nice job
nice jobs.the railing looks great.nice fix on the roof
Kool railing. Don't really have anywhere I could use something like that. Awesome video, the wife kicked it up a couple notches. 🚜🚜🚜
Great idea, in theory. Let us know how well it pans out. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice Vid!
Nice wiring solution up there on the roof. You can plug your Christmas lights into that thing.
Brilliant solution for your pipes. Thank you for sharing your videos. God bless you and your family.
Gotta love moisture y’all getting even if it’s white!
Railing was awesome!
Yes plug in on the roof for Christmas Lights! 👍
Good Job Scott, great idea on the roof. The outlet will come in handy I'm sure.
good job!
Just a little chilly up there Starting to warm up over here on the east end of the state
Nice job on the railings Scott and being a retired electrician I like what you did on heat tape for power.
My work is construction just finished a railing like that on a deck. It is beautiful. You did great on yours.
Yes it definitely is…so is Howie!
You need to add a weather proof cover for the outlet to keep weather protected
Looks like he's got a weather cover on it...
@@billnict1 the snow will pileup on the tubing and when melting it might leak thru. Better to use a screw down cap with a rubber seal.
Your electrical solution looked better than I thought it would! Good job! The railing isn't my style but it doesn't matter what I think. The installation was good and you sure knocked it out of the park with this one.
Scott you are a master of several traides.hope all your hard work pays off for you.The stair railings are great.🥰👍👍
Nice work Scott love the ingenuity with the vents. I’ve had to crawl through knee deep snow to dump hot water down a vent pipe. It’s not fun.
Use the speed square you have and put the level on it that will tell you angle as well
Not only the railing. The whole house looks amazing. Wow. No subtitling?? I can"t hear you. Since 2 monts a ear infection, Don"t hear anything. I was reading a few comments, and yeah, i red a few "should haves and i would haves". Don"t care. You done it your way, and it looks great. Might the Lord bless you in the future. See yah!
Sorry about that, sometimes it takes a while for the subtitles to auto-generate. They should appear soon!
@@WelkerFarms O thanks from the heart, (and for the heart) It"s pretty anoying, but with subtittles it"s more bearable. Thanks anyway! Is dad okay? have"nt seen him a while. Yeah, mis m.
but it looks outstanding and seeing you and nick buildon your own hosues and the things that yo have choosen to do things sure gives me good ideas for remideling my house
I love the pattern on the basement concrete floor. And I’ll check out the railing system- maybe they have an outdoor option?
And I love seeing Mrs Leg Arms car in the garage.
Hey, we've got outdoor options that you can choose from depending on your needs👌
@muzatacablerailingLEDchannel I'll use the website once i check the code height.
19:47 looks great
The plug on your roof should be GFI it's an outside plug
Good point, or a GFI breaker
If there code is like every where else it is on an arc fault breaker just like a gfci
I was going to say the same thing. The entire roof being energized would be something.
