- Hey guys welcome to todays video where I go over 15 of the best secrets from the newest Kirby and the Forgotten Land entry! This video was tons of fun to make and I cant believe how much fun this game actually is in comparison to others in the series. I personally think DeDeDe’s nonchalant wave to Kirby’s is less “subdued” and more chill and comforting. The waddle dees do say he’s resting after fending off the beast herd. I think he’s a cool dude.
Perhaps this could be called "Top 15 Things You May Not Have Known About Kirby and the Forgotten Land" instead - like others have said, a lot of these aren't necessarily secret. The game straight up tells you some of these things.
The statues are a thank you from the Waddle Dees for rescuing all 300 of them. It is not 100% game completion if anyone wants the statues but feels 100% is daunting

You can disarm Meta Knight in the coliseum and steal Galaxia from him. If you do then he runs away for a second and comes back with his old sword Master from before he had Galaxia.
The master sword IS galaxia

Galaxia technically first appeared in the Kirby anime (Known in the US as Kirby Right Back at Ya!) which debuted on October 6, 2001 in Japan and September 14, 2002 in North America but the design of Galaxia could be a re-imagining of the sword seen in Meta Knight's artwork from Kirby Super Star as it has the same red gem seen in later games and art.
The sword Meta Knight grabs after Kirby steals Galaxia is the same sword from Kirby's Adventure seen in his artwork for that game and his in-game sprites. And considering we don't know what the name of Meta Knight's old sword is, calling it "Master" is kinda the best we got since no names have been given to it thus far be it officially or from the internal files.
master is not galaxia, it's just the sword of the master. Galaxia has a drastically different design

You have to wait for him to do His fly charge Attack, then Hit him With the sword ability Before he hits you (Any type Will work) That's how you disarm Him
Not the biggest secret but the level called “the wastes where life began” at the very end skip the final waddle dee’s and walk past the broken gate to the hotel in the background, it will take u to a secret place with a little game to open a room full of coins a goodies.
King dedede looks so chunky in this game
I love how intricate & detailed the HAL rooms are in this game, makes them feel like huge discoveries.
This is one of my favourite games of all time!!

Same, got me back into Kirby. I wish so badly that Super star ultra was on the switch, as I do t have my 2DS anymore (traded it in for credit at GameStop to put towards my switch I was buying)
Though IIRC the original Kirby super star is on the SNES virtual console for switch, so that’s a positive at least
In the wastes where life began, the first stage in Originull Wasteland, right before you pick up the three waddle dees, there's a hole in the fence. You can go inside of the the resort.
mr sanbag is based on the dummy in the copy ability room in return to dreamland
It's actually based on the Mr sandbag from Smash bros
Fun fact
All of the first letters in all of the companies mentioned in the game (Holine, Alivel, and Lightron Works) spell out “HAL”
Also 86 has been used before in “Specimen F86”, and in Triple Deluxe where in one of the final levels you had to wait 86 seconds before a door appeared
There’s also an alternate path in the battle of blizzard bridge where you also have to fight the other mini bosses as twins

You have to climb the bricks above the maxim tomato, doing so will take you to a chest and a window and if you jump into the window you’ll start the alternate path
All the waddle dees are achievable on the top of the bridge btw
I did that route my first playthrough of that level
There’s a short minigame which gives a lot of coins if you can get to the hotel doors at the end of the first level in originull wasteland

fun fact: I found a really cool "glitch" I call time crash storage, how you do it is 1. use time crash 2. wait until it runs out 3. use a mouthful mode ability 4. go back to normal. and now you have crash back!!! (the way it works is when crash runs out you actually have a bubble for a bit and when you mouthful crash gets reset and you can use the BIG BOMB again whenever you want. enjoy!
When you stun meta knight you can inhale he’s sword and he will pull out a sword that looks like his first sword from kirby adventure
I kinda thought the wondaria hal room was significant to his anniversary
If you leave the awoofie on the alivel mall elevator and don’t kill it he’ll lead you to a blue coin

You didn't even cover the acronyms for this game NEWORLD using the first letter from each world and both from the last one. Also the three companies of the world are Holine Alivel and Lightron which makes HAL
There's also the present code: Clear Demo obtained by beating the game's demo
You get 2 codes for beating the demo, I found one in the theatre lobby on the right, and one outside the coliseum on the right wall.
The kirbynewsdesck code you get from the news on the switch btw there is a code after the demo witch is kirbydemo
Maybe something I'm not sure everyone realized, is that 86 reference, KatFL wasn't the first game to do it, it was Planet Robobot, in the official soundtrack album, the song that plays when you are in the Virtual Dimension is called L86, also, the pre-final boss Fecto Forgo in it's larval phase is called ID-F86

Kirby and elfilin be casually Viking to their funeral soundtrack
Extra part of the HAL: in a whirlpool in Concrete Isles, you can go to a sunken building if you are sucked in. The whirlpool is next to the M-shaped island. In Battle of the Blizzard Bridge, you can activate hard mode by finding the Maxim Tomato, climbing the debris above, and jumping through the open window. In the Wastes Where Life Began, at the end of the level, don’t free the waddle dees/coins and jump through the broken fence. Figure out the rest of that secret yourself :)
None of these are really secrets except for the music and the HAL rooms

Another blue coin in the level: "a trip to alivel mall". At the start of the level you'll see an Awoofy going up an escalator. Don't kill him and follow him until he brings you to a banner. Go through the banner and find the secret blue coin.
I love this game!! My 4yr and have played for hrs straight, which surprised me because I'm not much of a gamer anymore. I give it a 10/10

Same with mr sandbag I only found it in like world 4 and then elfilin or whatever said go to mr sandbag in the other room
This is not a secret, just a little fact that maybe no one knows.
So, you remember how at the end of Downtown Grassland there was a cutscene and there was a song that plays? (don't know the song name so I'll call it "A New World") Well, the tune of the song can actually be heard in the Waddle Dee Town theme! When I was playing, I was singing that song while the waddle dee town theme was playing, then I realized they had the same tune!
There are some demo exclusive codes. I have 2 and haven't got the game but might at the end of April.
How do you unlock more difficulty options in the colloseum?
You beat the game, then you beat the postgame.

You forgot one thing. Kirby and the forgotten land is sequel to Nier Automata.
in battle of the blizzard bridge if you go to the left you find a maxim tomato, but if you venture upward you get a chest, but go through the open window and you get a harder version of it.

The significance of the number 86 is also seen with Soul Forgo being labeled as Specimen F-86.

The wind before you fight Fecto Forgo also makes some boss music

Fun fact: if you glitch into the colosseum with the toy hammer glitch. and enter the colosseum the banner wil say 6 but it’s actually 1. and when you beat bonkers you will beat the whole colosseum. and when you claim your “reward” waddle dee guy will say what you did is illegal. here’s your’e “reward”
There are three secret kals throughout the game that maybe you missed?
If you look at the names of the shops in kirby's world it will spell out HAL.
I found a blue coin in World 3 in the end of Circuit Speedway on top of the results sign.

I have another HAL room in Concrete isles there is a whirlpool that has a ruin under get sucked in there is your hal room (this one dosn't say "HAL")
There is the worlds initials. N-E-W-W-O-R-L-D alright, now I can SAY that this easter egg is referencing to games to kirby's adventure game and games that have come after it.

They are 2 secret room but i don't know if it going to work on the English version because i saw it in Japanese.
World 2 Level 2 - Concrete Isles: There an island look like an S, in the corner of the water there a whirlpool go in and it a secret room.
World 5 Level 1 - The Wastes Where Life Began: At the ending of the level you see an hotel there a path to enter the hotel, there a secret room.

You don’t need to 100% the game fully to see the two statues that appear in waddle dee town, you just need to save all 300 waddle dees

@@KnightedSilverWolf plus all the figures, beating all the arena modes, and getting all of Leon’s soul. The waddle dees are not the only part of getting 100% in Kirby and the forgotten land.

@@alexanderdahms4001 any kirby player knows about crash, and the ability pedestals plus being forced to immediately copy the ability make this game the easiest one to learn about it. Crash isn't a secret lol. You literally need it for 100% completion because time crash

None of this is secrets it’s just about the main game except the Hal rooms
Only like a fifth of these are actually secrets, most are pretty obvious or are found out while playing through the game. Talks about the entire post-game that the game basically points a big red arrow to but can't mention the alternate route for Battle of Blizzard Bridge.
Next time check whether the things you are discussing are actually secrets or a pretty clear fact or section of the game because this video is an absolute joke.

@@hundred1956 It just annoys me the lack of effort to find actual secrets of the game instead of aspects that the game clearly points out or things that you would be guaranteed to discover if you were to play the game in its entirety. I am just saying that next time he should research what a secret actually is because this is basically just clickbait. What illustrates my point is if you were to just look through the comments for 5 minutes then you would see a lot of people talking about secrets he didn't mention or the items him mentioning not actually being secrets.

You call those secrets? The list is padded front to back with shit the game outright tells you exists in tutorials. I know you want to have a sensationalist title and "Top 5 secrets" doesn't sound as appealing as "Top 15" but the moment the video starts with basic shit like "you can rewatch cutscenes in the movie theater" and "you can enter codes at Waddle Dee-liveries", the viewer who clicked on the video will feel like you're wasting their time. It's a shame because there's some really interesting actual secrets and Easter Eggs in your list.
