After wanting for years to play the Ukelele I came across Arthurs Uke Blog and this appears to be the best online system (google it if you're interested)
This is a really old video but I wanted to say thanks because this seems like a super useful thing to know but not a lot of tutorials seem to talk about it. So thank you!
Well it's popular with me. Thank you for doing this tutorial. I love it and I love you for doing it, as only a new-to-the-ukulele can. I needed to know this. Thanks again.
Thank you so much sir. Very simple explanation, easy to understand. I bought my ukulele to day itself and I really needed to know this. Keep up the good work. Thanks once again.
Took me a while before I stumbled over your video, but YAY! Now I finally have an explanation that I understand and can remember :-) Thanks a bunch ... Also for the very sympathetic way of explaining the dry theory *haha* Greetz from Austria

The video was made on 2012, the original Doomsday year; Im watching this on 2020, the (they say) actual 2012, keeping in mind all the calculations etc. In other words, awesome tutorial borther 👍!
I appreciate it brother! I actually made a fresh video on locating notes to confirm that indeed, despite the wild ride, the notes remain in the same place. 👍
Thank you so much. Another unpopular item but important...Can you show us where the scales are and the most efficient way to play them. I've figured out the C scale but I am having trouble finding the best way to play others.
Oh and my son teaches music lessons and tutors so WHY did he not explain This to Me??? Most people forgot how there was a time when they didn’t know?😆. Very thoughtful of you to take the time for us. Well done!!!
I took a beginners class fr a teacher and then the teacher's next class. Boy did it jump in terms of what we should know. They were all over the uke fretboard assuming the classmates knew what the teacher was talking about, and they did, except me. I feel there was such a gap of knowledge that I needed to self-teach myself to catch up to this class. So this is very helpful in terms of learning the fretboard
Wish I lived in California ( I take it that is where you are from) my son lives in San Francisco. What a great teacher you are. Are you ever in San Francisco
susy quke I am so happy I found this site! ==> ukulele-master2.blogspot.com/ I don’t believe this at first because I always find music lessons are boring but if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have made my parents proud of me. Not only that, I am now the popular Ukelele player in this small town Beaufort. People love my music.
Oh my god, I actually understood something about music. First time ever. Thank you!
I hope you're still around, I just wanted to say thank you....Your a great teacher. I have seen others but your the best! .
Thanks, finally someone explained it well.
