Hi nick, thank you very much. In Switzerland is it forbidden to catch and release. You only can release the fish if there is a good reason. (To small, not the targed fish or important for the preservation of the species)
In Austria (the last two videos i uploaded) there is sometimes only catch and release allowed.

It's not possible to buy a license for this river without a person with a license for a year. 😅
In Switzerland usually you need a fishing test to fish.

Yes, you can't fish this part of the river.
Maybe you can write an email to the secretary and buy a license there. ( Fv-thur.ch scroll down, and there you can send an email)
You can also buy a 2 day license for fishing this river upstream (Fischerverein Obertoggenburg). There are also some hotels where you can go stay and buy a license. Fv-obertoggenburg.ch
