Could someone explain to me the difference between put and enjjpt (other than different countries from nato participating). Also how do you get selected for this rather than upt?
Not american but from my understanding UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) is the US version of NFTC, but only for US Pilots. ENJJPT is the next step for some in introduction to jet aircraft, ENJJPT is mainly just to maintain relations with other NATO Allies and provide "world class training".
It’s the same program, just in an international NATO environment. I guess you get chosen by rankings in ROTC or AF Academy class...at least this was a few years ago but I guess it didn’t change.
Hi! Which major did you take while at ROTC & what do you recommend to getting a top rated pilot slot?
I was a Meteorology major. I’d recommend anything defined as a ‘technical’ major by the Air Force definition (STEM)
@@ryanpieton5355 Thanks! Considering taking an aero major at ERAU or astro elsewhere. Where has the flight training taken you now? You enjoy it?
