The first thing I think of when people like Putin start going on about "Russia's sacrifice in WWII". Or, even better, that Russia did all the work. Who knows how things go if the USSR stands with GB and France in 1939. But, you know, Russia's going to Russia.
The common Russian people still sacrificed themselves to defend their motherland. Many of them were thrown into the battlefield carelessly to die by the leadership. These people didn't have a say in the pact with the Nazi, a decision made solely by a dictator.
Not to mention the Purges. I'm right there with you. I'm getting a little tired of the Soviet WWII d***riding regarding their losses. Maybe if Stalin hadn't murdered most of his office corps, those losses wouldn't have been so high.
This sounds absolutely wrong 😑. We have a big problem in the world for some hundreds of years. And this problem always came from the nations that felt to be the sea-empire states. Neither Russia nor Germany ever was that. And think about: why don’t do these two hate one another although all what has been? Because they are quite equal. Both nations are honest people and people that let the others live after their own rules. The English/ USA/Canadian/Australien/New Zealand people tent to lie and oppose their opinions and laws and all of them just KILLED the people who were there before. Those are murderers whenever they can or they pay others to be the murderer for them. They are the born mafia people. Think about the dollar as weapon- who else could do such an atrocity? They built their military bases all over the world. To have their bases on the Balkan they bombed Jugoslawien. They bombed whoever they wanted to get oil or drugs or other things they wanted.
I've watch Kotkin's interview with Lex Fridman at least 5 times. His knowledge of Stalin is unparalleled
Koktin legit.

Reminds me of the Trump Putin pact.
