Sweet bike. I took off the backrest and put an electric hub motor on the front - it rocks to 25 miles per hour in great comfort, almost overrunning the gearing. I love it.
They make really nice ebikes. The suspension is excellent. I prefer a front motor on the bike for easiness of installation and balance, with the battery on the back. I've got an EZEE hub motor on one, and a Nine-Continent motor from ebikes.ca on the other. Make sure you get some good torque arms for your front fork. The Nine C bike is good to about 28mph on 60V ping battery (LIFP04). I'd probably aim for a sub-30mph bike at first.
i have the same idea , my pa bought my ma one and she hasnt used it once , was thinking of doin a brushless hub motor , gonna run 56v on a 1000w setup on rear wheel w/ cassette , upgrade tires to high performance bmx street tires , Disc Brake , looking to see 35- 40mph
