Just discovered your channel while putting together my home office during quarantine. I've never hung a corkboard in my life (nor really hung much else, lol), so this was VERY helpful. I've always relied on partners/friends/family to mount things for me. Now that I'm single and in quarantine, I have no choice but to finally learn how to do these tasks myself. Better late than never!
in fact what you mentioning about the list of things you want to do to make you feal better, is also a well known method for threatment of depression. however if you suffer from a real depression I know from experience this helps to solve the effects.. not the cause. don't get me wrong this advice you gave is a good advice as it is also a good start...Take care and don't get depressed!
+Martijn Fransen ah interesting. That makes since. I feel like I could have used better terminology in the video. Often when I go from working 3rd on the weekends to normal life I am very tired and have to get motivated. Lists help me get going.
Hey Seth, I bet you know where Tazewell Tennessee is. That is where my mother was born and raised. Also, I saw Wranglerstar sporting one of your shirts in his latest video where he went to Hollywood. You might want to throw him a shout-out and kudos.
That is about 3 hours from where we live. I have been by there when we went to Washington DC on vacation. Yes I saw that video! I gave him that shirt at the Asheville Mother Earth News Fair. He wears it all the time. I should have purchased more of those shirts. I think its great that Cody still has time to talk to us small people :)
+Land to House I send Cody an email the other day and he never replied, so I may have to divorce him from my UA-cam viewing. LOL I live in Louisville Kentucky and it's a four hour drive from here from Louisville to Tazewell. I haven't been there in over 15 years, pretty much all I have down there is a bunch of cousins I either rarely saw or never saw and a bunch of graves where my ancestors are buried. All the good times I had for many many years of going back and forth, sometimes several times a year, are gone and all that's left are good memories. I am an Honorary Tennessean though, so I take very much pride in that. BTW are you a Kentucky Colonel?
+Darrell Waddell haha he is out of there. :) my little channel is around 50 times smaller than his and I get 10 ish emails a day. That puts him at 500 a day. That's 3500 emails a week. I should think it's hard to get him. BUT you can get through. It just has to be the right time. I grew up in the middle of Mississippi and have those memories. Nothing left there in that town but some old houses. I would still like to drive through someday. We live in North Carolina. Not much different from tennessee. I went to school at ETSU.
You said the art when you first came in was some your mother gave you. Did she do it? It is beautiful. I love the piece you did. Did you also do the two pieces above your cork board?
Yes those are from my mom. She made those back in her high school and collage days. There are a few more but I think that my brother has them. The pictures above the corkboard are mine. They were my first attempts to paint. I thought I would keep them since they were the first.
